Kimbrel, Venters, O’Flaherty, Medlen and Martinez are all locks for the bullpen. That leaves 2 open spots for Varvaro, Fish, Acensio, Gerrin, Chapman and Moylan. I think the final 2 slots will go to Fish and Acensio. Fish is a LOOGY and Acensio has been outstanding the past 2 seasons at AAA. If anyinjuries occur then Probably Gerrin.
I really think Vizcanio should be starting at AAA this season. He can strech out to be a starter then move to the Braves Bullpen when needed in Jul/Aug if Braves feel they need to limit his innings.
When Boras has taken a player to Free Agency, you will not see a short term deal or a long term, low dollar deal. Lots of years for lots of money each year are his motto.
First, (not that it matters) his wife is not American. Second, being all those things doesn’t give someone the right to be arrogant or smug or act better than others. And last, not everyone strives to be all of those things. I don’t need fame or to be at the very top of my field. I don’t even need an abundance of wealth. I just want to be happy and live a life where I don’t have to scrap by.
Also, He gets a big check in the “jerk” column for cheating on his girlfriend of several years, getting her pregnant, and leaving her for the girl he cheated with.
I really think Vizcanio should be starting at AAA this season. He can strech out to be a starter then move to the Braves Bullpen when needed in Jul/Aug if Braves feel they need to limit his innings…CBF
that might happen if he stinks up the place in spring training, but it would be a waste in a way. they have 6 or 7 guys ranked above him as starters so they have no need of him being stretched out this year, prolly not next year either.If/when he is ready to pitch in the Atlanta pen, that would be a better use the next year or two. Can always stretch him out in the future if they need him
Colorado Braves Fan – Not sure how you leave Varvaro, who compiled an ERA under 3.00 and a great WHIP and who can pitch multiple innings out of the pen.
I didn’t realize who Cundiff was (half paying attention to the game) so I Wikipedia’d him…who is updating this thing??
On January 22 2012, Cundiff missed a 32-yard field-goal to tie the game and take it into overtime in the AFC Championship Game versus the New England Patriots.
D.O.B. And A Few others Will Co-Sign on this… The AFC and NFC Championship Games are a lot better than the Stuper Bowl because the Players Play harder for their Corporate Parties they will get leading to the game…
Baltimore had their chances and blew it. Oh well, yet another super bowl with the Patriots. To bad i’m not a fan, I might actually be enjoying the success they’ve had the past decade.
All we need is another Boston vs NY matchup. Im so sick of those Cities sports teams.
Just funny the way the sports media works( espn mostly) the regional matchup of Alabama and LSU facing off for the national championship game was a nightmare, but a NE/NYG matchup in the superbowl will be a dream come true for them.
