Then again, Helen Mirren was only born 12 years after Donna Douglas, and Dame Helen is still quite a looker.

DOB: Jane Fonda is 74 and looked sensational last night on the Golden Globes. When I was a kid, most people in their 70’s were ancient and could barely get around, but not anymore in most cases. It’s an amazing thing.

I have watched Chipper since he came up and have much respect for the man. He comes to play with leadership and integrity. He learned from some pretty good players and now is passing on his knowledge to the kids, the future of our team. It would be nice to get a World Series win for him before he retires.
This might be corny but we should have a War Cry like, “Get One For Chipper!”

Bad knees of which I have two limit eveything about your play on a baseball field. I can’t understand why Chipper keeps taking up a spot when his good range at third is gone, his speed running the base paths is gone, and when his knee acts up his batting is gone. I loved his play in his prime but NO ONE can play forever.

“After I came back from surgery, the last two months of the season, doing it when I needed to made me feel good”
Doing what? – Botching ground balls? Taking days off to spend with the kids?
Chipper would rather hit third and hit .300 while the team loses than hit 6th and .260 for a World Series winner
Chipper Jones is the Dominique Wilkins of baseball. In his day, he could CARRY a team, but never could he ELEVATE his teammates. When you built a basketball team around Dominique Wilkins, the one thing you knew going in was who would be taking the most shots. When you build a baseball team around Chipper Jones, you know who wants to hit third

“Can we Just Lock Up The Bourn Identity to a 3 year 30-mill deal and get it over with and skip Free Agency?”
Realize that during his time with the Braves last year, Bourn was kind of like Nate McLouth, except without the power.
Bourn has speed, but he doesnt have good plate fundamentals to give him the kind of OBP he needs to have be truly and consistantly a force on offense. And he has zero power to fall back on. And he is nearing age 30.

Braves Fans Accept Mediocrity

Chipper is a redneck and the truth is that the front office hates him. They laugh about why all the dumb fans love him so much. He is a cancer in the clubhouse and has never been a real leader. Braves will continue to be mediocre as long as our fans embrace Chipper as a hero. Truth is… he couldn’t carry Mike Schmidt’s jock!

Hang in there babe…. I’m with ya on the speeding up of the game! I throw batting practice to the middle school team my daughter plays on and even though I was throwing 64mph in my prime, well those 14 yr old girls scare the crap out of me when throwing BP! I feel like my 39 yr old eyes can’t see anything!!! The amount of attention it takes is crazy!! Well I give ya 2 more season good or bad! Go Braves!!!!!!!!

Yes, Sheldon Cooper of the sitcom Big Bang Theory. Lots of us know about this character played by Jim Parsons. You could say that Sheldon is a classic example of a weird friend. Initially, I thought Sheldon was an alien from outer space. The way he behaves, his figurative mode of speech was unusual and seriously discrete. If you take a character analysis of Sheldon ways of living, mannerism, it could sometimes flabbergast you. Why? Because you have a person like his friends Leonard, Howard, and Rajesh have an extensive collection of superhero toys in which Flash is his favorite. Man! You will split into laughter, when you see in an episode where he dresses up as the Flash after drinking five cups of coffee. He gets so energized and intoxicated that he just speeds out of the apartment into the street in the Flash costume. ..
