Yeah, page marker. The page refreshes to my last comment for some reason, so I threw that out there to keep from having to scroll down over and over. It would not let me use, enter your comment here, again.

You should just say the name of beloved sitcom characters.
January 16th, 20128:19 pm
Hum, I can’t think of any. The Big Bang Theory is the only one I watch.
January 16th, 20128:20 pm
Knock, knock, knock, Penny.
January 16th, 20128:21 pm
Knock, knock, knock, Penny!
Knock, knock, knock, Penny!!?
I’m watching that now

@ATL3124 I still think Jurrjens gets dealt, but for prospects and not a bat. Maybe a minor league signing for an outfielder is left.
Where does Jurrjens even go at this point? Detroit, Boston, and Toronto seem to be the only teams with even a slight chance of adding another starter. I’d be really surprised if he was traded at this point.
Priya wants Leonard to cut off Penny
DOB, any possibility that the A’s may be looking to flip Smith plus an OF prospect to us? — DAM
Haven’t heard anything, so I wouldn’t rule it out. But I do know this: The number of times that folks in these forums suggest or wonder if a team might trade for a player and “flip” him to another team is infinitely greater than the number of times a team actually trades for a player and “flips” him to another team. At least in baseball. It’s far more common in the NBA.
January 16th, 20128:24 pm
The Big Bang Theory is the only one I watch.
Great show. One of my favorites. Although I think I liked it more without Amy Farrah Fowler. Although I’m not 100% sure, sometimes too much of her is annoying.
January 16th, 20128:26 pm
It’s far more common in the NBA.
Way too common, imo.
Poor Leonard. I watched the one where Leonard decides not to fool around with cute girl because of Pryia. Then tells her and she confesses to fooling around with some guy in India.
January 16th, 20128:27 pm
I’m always late to the party. I just started watching The Office in 2010. My ex’es brother introduced me to How I Met Your Mother just last year. And my sister’s bf introduced me to the Big Bang Theory a few months ago.
I think I’ll check out Titanic pretty soon
January 16th, 20128:28 pm
Then tells her and she confesses to fooling around with some guy in India.
January 16th, 20128:29 pm
I DVR’d a bunch of syndication episodes. One day Leonard’s dating Penny, the next he’s longing for her.
January 16th, 20128:30 pm
And doo doo with the triple
January 16th, 20128:32 pm
What happens in Thiruvananthapuram, stays in Thiruvananthapuram.
Sorry, it’s an older one. A rerun on TBS or Fox maybe.
January 16th, 20128:34 pm
Yeah, sometimes the Amy F F character can be a bit much
January 16th, 20128:36 pm
I quit watching ” How I Met Your Mother” a long time ago. By the time he meets her he will be to old to become a father.
January 16th, 20128:37 pm
But it’s Blossom
January 16th, 20128:38 pm
Not me…I got season 6 of HIMYM for Christmas. I want to know who Danny Tanner marries
January 16th, 20128:40 pm
Modern Family,Cougar Town, Parks and Recreation
January 16th, 20128:41 pm
not so much on The Office or How I Met Your Mother
January 16th, 20128:42 pm
Well I’m not so crazy about nolie
January 16th, 20128:43 pm
I’m sure I’ll find out some day.
I would watch the one with David Spade in it, if it did not have David Spade in it.
January 16th, 20128:48 pm
David Spade’s still around?
January 16th, 20128:50 pm
Yep, and still playing David Spade
Community is ok Too
January 16th, 20128:51 pm
Some people are just natural sidekicks
Jeffrey should like Community, it deals with a buncha carnival students
January 16th, 20128:52 pm
Some people are just natural sidekicks…Jeffrey
you mean like bass players?
Like I said, I’m late to the parties. I’ll check it out in a couple years
January 16th, 20128:54 pm
I know you’re joking, but yes! I’ve played solo on guitar several times, but I much prefer being the sidekick bass player and occassional lead singer. Less pressure
January 16th, 20128:56 pm
the definition of wingman/sidekick. Robin and Kato……..
January 16th, 20129:03 pm
Yeah, I’ve been in musical performances for years, and the only time I haven’t gotten nervous is when I play with my current band. I like not being the main guy.
January 16th, 20129:05 pm
While my original comment was in reference to David Spade, I see that it applies to me as well
Tomahawkin (The Godfather)
January 16th, 20129:08 pm
Baseball’s Seasons 1993 is on, talk about some damn good TV
January 16th, 20129:10 pm
The entire season??
January 16th, 20129:11 pm
January 16th, 20129:22 pm
Good point…it seems that some of baseball’s best players come from the DR. Haiti’s on the same island, why don’t they have more stars?
I don’t think it’s all that unusual jeffrey d. Think North America. USA supplies how many MLB players compared to Mexico and Canada? Probably not as big of a ratio compared to Hispanolo, but still very skewed in favor of the USA.
January 16th, 20129:25 pm
Plus in the DR you can grow up to be a farmer,a fisherman a valet at the resort or a baseball player. Which one would you want to be when you grow up? Farmer makes $1000 a year, Fisherman makes $1500, Valet makes $2000 and Fat Albert makes $25,000.000 a year.
January 16th, 20129:27 pm
January 16th, 20129:28 pm
I don’t see the Braves going after Seth Smith from the A’s though I am sure they will check in on him. I could see the Braves asking about Reddick more than Smith. The A’s will not have any use for Prado or Jurrjens. They would be looking for prospects.
January 16th, 20129:34 pm
kl – don’t forget minor league minimum is also more than the amounts you mentioned
January 16th, 20129:41 pm
The ol saying on the islands is you don’t walk off the islands, you swing your way off the islands
January 16th, 20129:46 pm
Tiger you’re right about that. I’ve been to Haiti and the poverty is overwhelming.
January 16th, 20129:48 pm
Ray – How do you apply that to AGon with him being from S. America?
McFann O O o
January 16th, 20129:49 pm
jeffrey d We’ve just got Francoeur, McCann, and Wieters
Don’t forget David Ross!…
January 16th, 20129:52 pm
Miss Peggy from the Andy Griffith Show. Very attractive, drove a convertible, loved her accent.
January 16th, 20129:54 pm
Yeah, too bad she couldn’t have stuck around instead of Helen Crump—never cared for her, and she seemed to turn Andy into a grouch…
January 16th, 20129:58 pm
Yeah she was good, so was “Miss Ellie”. I never cared for Helen Crump either. Fitting name, Crump.
January 16th, 201210:03 pm
DS1 – I think Josh Hamilton’s dad has been hired as his “accountability” coach for this season.
January 16th, 201210:05 pm
And Mike Cameron
January 16th, 201210:06 pm
Moe Berg @ 8:32
January 16th, 201210:09 pm
I missed the story behind the new moniker. Interesting, I’m sure. U keeping it for the whole season?
January 16th, 201210:12 pm
Don’t forget Moises Alou in the Ga Boys.
January 16th, 201210:13 pm
I said “The Falcons will score more than 2 points or my name isn’t Jeffrey Doo Doo”
And welp….I’m doo doo
January 16th, 201210:14 pm
Miss Ellie was good, too…shame she left after the first season.
I never cared for Helen Crump either. Fitting name, Crump.
Haha! They prolly did that on purpose… Not entirely sure what Andy saw in her…
Doesn’t really matter, though—after Barney left (’cause he thought the show was ending), there was nothing left…
January 16th, 201210:15 pm
So, jeffrey doo doo-
Any predictions for this weekend’s games?
January 16th, 201210:16 pm
And isn’t there some guy on the Giants that’s from GA…? I think he came up a couple months after Heyward and played………Center field…?
January 16th, 201210:17 pm
Why? So you can pick the opposite?
I see NE and SF in the Super Bowl
January 16th, 201210:18 pm
We’re not talking NPH are we?
no! You should know I’m taking my Niners! As for the AFC…don’t much care
January 16th, 201210:20 pm
DS1 – I just checked, and looks like Hamilton’s father-in-law has backed out of that accountability role. My bad with stale info.
SF surprised me….I thought the Saints would walk all over them.
Same with Green Bay and the Giants
January 16th, 201210:21 pm
Heck, I thought GB was a Super Bowl lock
January 16th, 201210:22 pm
jeffrey d We’re not talking NPH are we?
I…don’t know…I’m not sure what that is…
We’re talking about “The Andy Griffith Show”…
Yeah, McFann, between Barney leaving and dating Helen it’s no wonder Andy became a little grouchy.
I thought the Niners could win- didn’t expect a shootout to end the game though.
January 16th, 201210:23 pm
A lot of folks thought the Saints would walk all over the Niners. Never took into account just how good the Niners defense really is
For sure—it’s kinda scary! Howard didn’t help, either…
January 16th, 201210:24 pm
all this football talk made me watch the last boy scout again…
January 16th, 201210:29 pm
I’m just excited my Niners are in the NFC title game again. It’s been a while. And I am super glad they are playing the Giants, because even if they lose, I will have a rooting interest in the Super Bowl
January 16th, 201210:32 pm
No Howard did not help, nor did that new deputy. What was his name…………… Ha, ha, Warren
Neil Patrick Harris! The only other person to be named “Barney” in a sitcom
January 16th, 201210:41 pm
January 16th, 201210:42 pm
Barney the dinosaur
Barney Miller was a sit-com
January 16th, 201210:43 pm
damn KL beat me to it
January 16th, 201210:44 pm
You experts forgot Moises, whose Papa was named Felipe and played for the Braves in 1966.
Moises Alou was born on Sunday, July 3, 1966, in Atlanta, Georgia. Alou was 24 years old when he broke into the big leagues on July 26, 1990, with the Pittsburgh Pirates. His biographical data, year-by-year hitting stats, fielding stats, pitching stats (where applicable), career totals, uniform numbers, salary data and miscellaneous items-of-interest are presented by Baseball Almanac on this comprehensive Moises Alou baseball stats page.
You’re a sit-com
nebody see (or put on here) DOB/Medlen’ exchange on twitter this afternoon?

January 16th, 201210:46 pm

I wish I didn’t know about Barney Miller. It might mean I was a little younger.
January 16th, 201210:47 pm
Barney Miller was a good show.
Detective Authur Dietrich cracked me up.
nolie’s Fred Sanford.
January 16th, 201210:48 pm
I don’t know about Barney Miller
January 16th, 201210:49 pm
Doo Doo hitting lead off
January 16th, 201210:51 pm
Remember Abe Vigoda on Barney Miller? Didn’t he have a spinoff named Fish?
January 16th, 201210:52 pm
And of course, my all time favorite…..
You should check that one out, jeffrey.
January 16th, 201210:54 pm
Leaving for Fish was another one of those departures for another show moves that did not pay off – Hello, Larry…
I was really just trying to get a rise out of the ageists
January 16th, 201210:59 pm
Old people like you do get on my nerves…
January 16th, 201211:00 pm
1B DONEL LINARES [.175 BA] 0-3.
1B ERNESTO MEJIA [.250 BA] 0-4, 2 SO. That hole in his swing appears larger than ever. Way too many SO’s.
