When Beltran signs with the Yanks, Wren ought to offer Minor for Swisher, and Montero

Anders no pun intended, but I have a disdain for any guy getting millions a year to play a game, and yet can’t answer the bell when it’s showtime. that one includes Reyes, I surely want no part of him in Atlanta, we have enough of those part timers, Jurrjens, Hanson, Jones, Heywad

Nolie- They’re not going to give Reyes a long term deal. If he can get one then they’ll let him walk. Wright’s not getting traded unless they’re blown away wich is doubtful coming off the year he just had.

Now if we could get rid of Conrad, and Diaz, I would be one happy camper.

Joebrave- The Yanks don’t trade for guys like Minor. No disrespect meant but they want seasoned vets or blue chip sure shots. Minor is neither imo. They’ll add to Swisher to get what they want when the oppurtunity arises. They have prospects to include in a deal i.e. Montero.

JoeBrave, and getting rid of those players hasn’t stopped the fact they might be moving more contracts (Prado and/or JJ) just to upgrade their team. Just shows money is really scarce

njbrave that would be your opinion. I watch all the the games when im not ther inperson. Being a season ticket holder for the last 5 years. I have probably been to more games then you’ve seen. Not included the games in Florida i went to or the past three spring training trips I have taken. I take a special interest in our minor league players so when i get a chance i head up to Gwenneit county they have a very nice field there. I bet you have never been. Everychance I get I try to involve myself in my favorite sport. So in my opinion right now this is all speculation who knows what there are going to do. I’m doing what everone else here is doing trying to have fun and talk about every possible projection or gossip rumors ect. People like you are the real ignorant one’s. These blogs are meant to share and have fun and laugh when you think someone doesn’t know what there talking about. I’f you dont have nothing nice to say. Them cut off your fingers. lol GoBraves!!!

Why can we not just stand pat.
Look at the upgrades from last year to next year

Bourn>>Shafer/McLouth Bourn-.280 and 40 steals
Prado is not a .260 hitting and can be just fine for left field with our power in other areas
McCann was having a career year before he got hurt. He will be just fine
Heyward is way better than .220 and will be giving the opportunity to show this coming year
Freeman was just fine, adjusted well to the league.
Chipper (with proper rest) can easily hit .275 will OPS in low .800’s
Gonzo/someone- honestly was just fine, with others performing no pressure will be put on him
Uggs having an even year, no worries.

Bourn-.280
Prado-.290
Freeman-.280
Uggla-.250
McCann-.300
Heyward-.285
Chipper-.275
Gonzo-.245

Hudson
Hanson
Jair
Beachy
Minor/Teheran sharing a start on the fifth day
IE Teheran pitches 4/5 Minor finishs the game
Gives them both multiple innings and saves the bullpen a game out of five.

ok guys I don’t usually say much.. I drop a line here and there but I usually just read your thoughts and read DOB and Carrol.. Other writers such as you know who I pay little attention.. So after having time to coll off and look back at the meltdown and since I am having a night 2 catch a good buzz watch my daughters high school BASKETBALL and just think about the Braves since I have been a fan.. (1989).. I have in my opinion came to the conclusion that 10 starting pitchers are not how we win.. We need power in LF a fill in for SS until Tyler is ready and whatever else JON..!! Not Frank says we need… In my opinion trading Prado uinless we get alot back is just senseless.. Trade jair and maybe another Pitcher to add some pop in the line-up is the only way 2 go..
