ok so I don’t know anything about rangers bullpen but I’m switching it to the braves and I’m hearing…he is leaving in hanson – I don’t understand why he would do that he has lowe, linebrink & sherrill who haven’t been used at all
so not sure I can disagree with the call

yeah I know the decision is debatable (all of them are) but its not like its a no brainer (in my opinon)

the key to avoiding that, if you ever go to a party in college, is walking around all night with the same cup of beer- even if it gets completely empty, continue to act like it’s got something in it- people won’t keep asking if they can get you more and you won’t drink too much

I don’t really care who wins the series that much (except for the beers & the NL), but I’d like to see it go to the seventh game.
One of my main fishing buddies says that the end of the World Series, is the end of summer, in his opinion. I agree.
Of course, looking out my window and seeing snow on the cars, branches and leaves (snow on the leaves – sounds weird, right?), I’m thinking that summer may have already ended.

I have a buddy lives in a different state and we meet up a couple times a year.
late 20’s the schedule was fly in thursday night and go out drinking up early for golf drinking then lunch and a lazy afternoon followed by l8 friday night drinking and drinking golf saturday and drinking saturday night then fly home sunday
early 30’s we would drink thursday night golf friday afternoon but little to no drinking then mellow friday night golf saturday and hard saturday night
mid 30’s dinner thursday night golf friday drinking friday night golf saturday drinking saturday night
now we do dinner and golf and maybe go somewhere to drink one night (normally thursday so we have plenty of recovery time before home)

One of the things I love the most about going to my cabin in the winter is the snow on the branches of the pine trees…so pretty

Snow on pine trees is beautiful, cabravesfan, and common. I’m talking about snow on regular leaves. There are still maple trees around here that are just starting to turn colors. They are always late to go, compared to most others in the area.

Super Two status announced. No Hanson. No Medlen. Meaning next offseason the Braves will have Heyward, Hanson, Venters, Medlen, and Martinez as first year arbitration eligible players.

Not sad. Our trees are evergreens, for the most part.
Oh, well that is pretty. But I LOVE fall leaves, especially orange and red ones. We’re surrounded by pretty much all greenish yellow (except for our Maple Tree—it turns blackish purple, unlike the hundreds of gorgeous Maple Trees in the surrounding neighborhoods…
), so that gets a little boring… 
But the trees by the railroad near our neighborhood?? Man, I could stare at those things all day long…unbelievable…

Yeah, I don’t rake leaves. My bro and I used to have to rake up the bark that would shed from our Eucalyptus trees in our yard. Hated it. And those stupid trees. Still do actually. And they drip some nasty, sticky goo that clings to cars and is just yuck.

Has had about three real good years in his entire career.
I’m a younger guy, and have really only watched baseball religiously for the last 17 years. I haven’t seen a better defensive third baseman in that time. Beltre is insanely good.

This series has demonstrated how little the manager affects the game. Both managers have made dreadful decisions. In the end, Texas is just hitting the ball and out-scoring their mistakes.
They’re winning despite Ron Washington.
If they go on to win this thing, no one will remember Washington’s questionable calls.

Yeah, career .276/.329/.469, 110 OPS+ hitter. Unbelievable defense and that line makes him a pretty damn good third baseman.
