Both of these two teams, the Snakes and the Brews, are fighting it out to the end—both have a lot of heart. No quit in either team. Not like the Braves, who quit with 3 weeks to go.

Bream’s slide was just one of those moments you try to top…and never do. The last out in ‘95 didn’t do it for me, and i was there. It was great but it wasn’t the slide.

By the way – I commented on this to cab earlier – although I was at work, I managed to listen to the first game. In the last couple of innings the normally reserved and shy Chris Berman put Chip to shame – his response to any ball in the air made you immediately think it would break though the dome and fly far beyond the stadium…
