MAN: if you are a fan in Georgia, there sure is nothing to be proud of Braves fell of the cliff at the end of the season, Falcons have become the Falcan’ts, Hawks mediocre if they do play or not, Georgia Tech and UGA both average teams.
KNOW WONDER THRASHERS LEFT TOWN! They saw the Flames win a Stanley Cup after they left Georgia and wanted to get out of Losersville.
The last 40 years UGA won NCAA National Championship in 1980
Ga. Tech won NCAA National Championship 1990,
Braves won World Series in 1995
Falcons went to the Super Bowl but lost.
WHAT A BAD STATE FOR SPORTS!!!!!
Had a pulled pork sandwich at Community BBQ today. I’d put it right up with Fox Bros. as best pulled pork in Atlanta. I still go Daddy Dz as best overall BBQ joint in Atlanta. (Mad Dog’s in Conyers also exceptional.)
DOB–When I was last in Atlanta, I ate at both Community BBQ and Fox Bros. Great BBQ. I am missing it here in New Jersey. Got really good brisket in Oklahoma but have not found anything up here yet.
If Detroit comes back with a win and pushes the series to game seven, does Texas still take the ALCS or would that be a momentum swing? (And I realize that the concept of momentum, implies that players’ performances might be impacted by something other than their innate talents.)
In addition to Terdoslavich and Bethancourt, Braves OF prospect Todd Cunningham also off to good start in Ariz. Fall League — 8-for-23 w/ 2 doubles, 7 RBI in 6 games.
TnBrianHe is some kinda catcher. Guy can do it all!
Blah blah…make him play in glasses for a year-plus and then then the final half of the year with a bad oblique or whatever the [heck] the dang problem was and see how things go…
jeffrey dI hear Molina tutors blind children in his spare time
Man, I really hope so. I actually get to watch, which means they will probably be horrible…
Good luck I really don’t follow any NFL anymore but from what I have seen this year they look like a team of destiny this year….after so many years of futility the fans of Detroit deserve a winner
Come on guys, be nice – Furcal willing to join us during the AL game – the inability to spell his own name seems like a minor transgression as he prepares for tomorrow…
Buck & McCarver have nothing intelligent to say. Absolutely nothing. All they have to offer are cheesy one liners. Old and crusty those two… and boring as shi*.
