wow everything we hit is so damn weak
Thought that’s what you meant- just wanted to make sure
September 27th, 2011
Jerry, that’s funny, I have never noticed the skip thing Lowe does. I will have to pay attention to that.
Yeah Trey, it’s like he dances off to his left and mainly when the pitch was not good.
T for Texas
Boston down 1-0 as well.
Anyone have a place I can listen to the game?
September 27th, 20117:33 pm
Martinez can pitch same amount of inning Lowe has this season per outing………..And maybe, jusst maybe, perform better……….but guess what……….we will never know.
McCann hitting .168 in last 35 games. Wow.
I think their at bats get worse as each game passes.
September 27th, 20117:34 pm
nice McCann! Hope this will get him going
wow hopefully thats what he needs to get going
Mac should been on 2nd base. Come on.
how is he not on second? no reason to watch the ball
stizz (Braves & Falcons fan til death)
How the f*** is Mac not on 2nd base.
b mc bloop
ONLY McCann couldnt make it to 2nd base on that lol
Nice bloop MAAAAC!!
McFann :Ô: :Ô: :ô:
A hit! A HIT!!
bloop and a jack??
Hey, look at how HUGE that Jerry Meals game is now.
Only McCann could hold himself to a single on that.
The A Bomb
The Fatboy Waddle
Good to see McCann able to get a hustle single out of that.
Anyone else on the sam would have had a Texas league double on that one, but at least he’s on base.
September 27th, 20117:35 pm
oh geez…….gonzo out
Bmac should be standing on second!!
Let’s go Alex!
Well, there goes AGon. Outta the game, Wilson in.
Prado- Really struggling
Chipper- Doing decent
Fab 5-Currently struggling
Agon-Good month but streaky
Thank you Parrish for your input to the team.
what happened to gonzo?
The ultra aggressive approach has worked so well lately, keep it up
Sigh…you complain that he’s not hitting, and when he gets a hit, you complain that it’s “only” a single…
Wow………….McPop up hit a popup single………will he try to still?
And look who’s umping 2nd….Jerry Meals.
Don’t bother pointing out that 4 of his [Teheran's] ER were in 2.2 IP of relief in that 12-2 loss to the Mets.
In his starts, his ERA is 3.68. Sure his innings don’t rack up. In his 3 starts, he’s pitched 14.2 innings.
In Lowe’s last 3 starts, he’s totaled 14.1 IP while giving up 13 ER (10.64 ERA). — N8
I would just point out that Lowe allowed three runs and six hits in 6-1/3 innings his last start. That’s one more quality start than Teheran’s had.
I don’t understand Why Hicks isn’t with the ballclub given Gonzalez injury. We have no flexiblity with Wilson as our only SS
bloop and a jack??
Very appropriate, Jack Wilson that is
ugh I thought seabass was playing tonight…
Chipper playing, Gonzo out!
Damn. Jack in there. Not a good sign for Alex.
September 27th, 20117:36 pm
Gonzalez must’ve reinjued the calf, but didn’t see when it would’ve happened. No word yet from Braves.
Um why didn’t Wilson just start the game if Alex had a hurt calf?
DOB … In an earlier post, someone called the Bourn / Victorino match-up “even.” You agree? If the Phillies offered you Victorino for Bourn next year, you passing?
well atleast wilson has good numbers against roy
You people always just look at the negative…
September 27th, 20117:37 pm
Here is another man that has had a rough september. and here is another man that has had a rough september. and here is another man that has had another rough september. bla bla bla bla.
where is thuggla on your list?
dum de dum dum!
man really got a hold of that one
Come on, Jason.
here comes the strikeout kid!
Come on kid show us some of that magic from last year.
Wilson sure showed how great he hits Oswalt. C’mon Heyward!
September 27th, 20117:38 pm
have the Cardinals scored yet?
Chipper is out there on one leg and Gonzo is out…sheesh
Braves hitters are just missing Oswalts fat pitches Sooner or later they wil catch up to him.
What are they all — Iroquois or Sioux?
Braves have no heart!!
September 27th, 20117:39 pm
Thank God for Red Sox.. No one is talking about Braves because of them… LOL
yet another stranded runner, how many is that for the season? 2500 or so?
Jason’s got fewer strikeouts than Uggla, Freeman, and Alex…
Homer here. calling it
Sit down Heyward
….is anyone ever gonna tell heyward to STAND CLOSER TO THE PLATE? i mean if he is gonna continue trying to pull the ball, which he will, why doesnt he get closer? his arms are long enough that he could pull one in the right-hand batters box if he were to get closer. RIDICULOUS larry parrish
Rob from SC
Heyward sure does foul off a lot of fat pitches
Ugh. Someone has to come through at some point with runners on base, right?
Doesn’t matter if he was on 2nd or not, our hitters can’t advance runners.
September 27th, 20117:40 pm
Anyone else really depressed about Jason? I used to get so excited watching him play. Now i dont even like seeing him come up to the plate. What the hell happened?
Two pathetic offensive innings.
here comes jason there go’s jason
Oswalt never strikes out anybody…..
This offense makes my eyes hurt. I really get tired of seeing weak pops on the infield and strike outs. All season long the team has looked lost at the plate and seemingly had no approach or game plan. They’re just at the plate guessing and hacking.
He also has been susceptible to every pitch on the outer half of the plate, hence the recent string of strikeouts and weakly hit balls
Wow. Gotta say that this offense really makes it difficult to be positive. Really wish they’d do something other than laying down.
Watching this team is like watching golf!!! They put me to sleep!!!!
September 27th, 20117:41 pm
R.Michael, Bourne and Victorino are different players. Victorino has developed some power but is not nearly as fast as Bourn. I think Victorino is a more solid defender too, slightly. They are both REALLY good players but I believe I would go with Victorino. I remember when Bourn was a Phillie too, saw him go from 1st to 3rd on a pickoff throw that got by the 1st basemen.
That was a great trade for the Phillies – won them a WS with Lidge.
hmmmmwaahaahahahaa the Braves SUCK!
What station is the game on?
Trade Heyward for a bag of rocks!!!!
yeah it really blows…..wish he could turn it around
J-DUD is SO OVERATED.
September 27th, 20117:42 pm
Fredi wil bring me teepee for my holiooooooooo
heyward also has about 15-20 less games played than all 3 of those that you mentioned when he was hurt
God this team sucks! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
And dont tell me not to watch. Hate when the smart asses here say that. STFU! It’s my team!
We’ll score either the next half inning or the bottom 4th.
2-0 Tampa Bay. This is insane.
Heyward keeps telling people he doesn’t stand any further off the plate than last year.
ATTENTION HEYWARD…. We don’t care about last year…MOVE F’N CLOSER TO THE PLATE.
Geez Carlos… Braves killer
ratatabahahawaahahaa he braves are like me, they are never gonna score! dammit!
September 27th, 20117:43 pm
ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh this team is so annoying
Lee In S GA
I’m with DOB on this one. Lowe over Teheran.
that is a surprise – Steve O
Someone, for the love of all that is holy, please step up and hit the damn ball.
He still has quite a few less than Alex, who is above him on that list.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
