This team better put it’s money where Chippers mouth is cause I’m sick of “there’s always tomorrow”. How about we play as if there is no tomorrow? How about one win guarentee’s at least a tie for the wild card.
I´d pick Jack Wilson or Brooks Conrad over Lowe…….. only Linebrink would be a worse option to start this game than Lowe………… even the water boy could do better…………..but oh right, he last september magic, LOL……….stupidity at its best.
Okay, so Lowe gives up a home run early. At least it was a solo shot and that’s all he gave up. He looked good otherwise. He’ll get into a groove. I just wish he would get away from that goofy looking skip thingie he does on some of his deliveries. Now c’mon offense, bear the f*** down!
I don’t think you can trade Prado just because he had one bad year. He had too much stuff on his plate this year (switching position from IF to LF and he was on DL for quite sometime)
Does this dumb team go to sleep every night and forget to be more patient at the plate? You would think that after 162 games these idiots would have learned to take a few pitches early to see what he has got.
Which will we see tonight. The patented bases loaded no out strand all the runners, or the patented take the lead only to give it right back up the next inning. Or just a good old fashioned shut out.
No Prado doesn’t swing at everything, he swings at bad pitches. He needs to try swing earlier in the count when they’re throwing him fastballs right over the plate. He doesn’t swing until he’s down 0-2.
We need hitters to take Chippers approach of working the counts.
What the heck was Uggla doing?
Bourn for some reason thinks he is a homerun hitter now
Prado- not much needs to be said. He is a utlity player.
Yep. The offense showed no life outside of a harmless walk with two outs. More overaggressive approaches resulting in weak outs. They have 24 more outs to play with so hopefully they can somehow take advantage.
Sad when a 1-0 lead in the first inning of play feels more like a 5-0 lead with the Braves anemic offense. Not that it matters much now…but I would have liked to see someone else batting second instead of Prado in this lineup.

You still have to ask?
Are you telling me that you agree to see Lowe on the mound?
He should have been replace on this rotation by Martinez long time ago.
Or Teheran. He could have given some starts to Teheran trying to set him up for a game like todays.
As always, this team sticks to the player that started the season just to show what? Loyalty?
What about showing some Loyalty to the other 24 players…………..
Chippers face right after Utley hit that ball says it all………….they are all tired of Lowe, and I dont think that started this season.
I cannot believe the Red Sox and the Braves are both in danger of missing the postseason. I fyou would shave said that a month ago you would have been locked up for craziness.
My comment was in response to someone wondering why Dan swung at that pitch. My point was, it was a good pitch to hit. Dan just didn’t do much with it, but it was a strike, even if he didn’t swing…
Chip Cary. Says nothing original. Obvious everybody here knows that, but I feel it’s worth repeating. Anybody that says being a good announcer doesn’t take talent just compare Chip to his late dad.
Doc….are we talking about the same Martinez? the one who can rarely pitch with the same type of consistency after back to back outings? the one who sometimes seems to lose all sense of control? or we talking about the one who seems to falter after about the 2nd inning while doing long relief mop up duty? I like the guy, but a starter he is not
Disagree with DOB with Lowe pitching tonight he worst than awful more like sucks. 3o more starts next year with Freddi. There isnt a team out there dumb to trade for him if we would pay 10 mil.He will be ouy of this game by 4th inning. Freddi the ass he is takes Minor out when its. Braves are hard to figure out never thought Prado, McCann and Heyward would be this bad.Milky 200 hits tells us we dont need a hitting coach. Those three along with JJ should not get a penny more than there making now.
Lowe looks like the Lowe of Last years post season.
If we get to the post season and Lowe pitches like this I think we have an outside shot at winning a series but first we have to score some runs.
Lowe is awesome today. What great movements in his pitches. Haven’t seen this from Lowe in last 2 months.
I know, just chiming in saying that it was a good pitch to hit as many have been that the braves hitters have done nothing with. Scream about patience, scream about approach but if these hitters don’t start doing more with these very hittable pitches were screwed.
