Can’t wait to get into playoffs and face these Phillies in NLCS. We’ll get em boys.

If the braves somehow back in we will be the team with nothing to lose so maybe we could play better in that role.

Not the first Philly to homer this series.

Doesn’t mean we would have lost the game had he started.

Oh wait. We haven’t scored a run.

Has there ever been a more epic collapse than McCann’s? He’s just lazy and stubborn. It’s irritating. Make him use a smaller bat. Make him choke up. But no, the manager can’t even make up his mind about his Zinfandel vs. Chablis.

It’s sad when you have the fans cheering for a 100 loss team. Unreal season. UNNREAL

“I’ve never seen a damm wild card race where both teams don’t give a crap about winning!”

Braves for sure don’t seem like they care but the Cards though, I think they seriously under estimated Houston. And the Astros, even though long eliminated, are playing what they probably consider meaningful games to them.

Good post. I agree pretty much. Though I think they will want to try and hold onto Hanson and hopefully extend him if he is healthy. JJ I could see going. I dont think they will get rid of Prado. Everyone slumped and I think they will give him a reprieve for his poor year. I think they see him as their 3rd bagger in 2013.

Has anyone thought about what charlie manuel is doing? This guy has such a hatred for the braves that he has left all of his starters in a game that he is up 6 to nothing in. In a game that means nothing!!!
His pitcher almost got hurt earlier when prado called time out.
This would be like playing peyton manning in the last game of the season when you are up 40 to nothing. you dont risk your starters.
Manuel is a smart axx and he is trying to rub it in.
The funny thing is the cards are losing again and he could still end up not knocking the braves out.
he is a jerk.

AFAN…Manual needs his team to hit…their starters will have off tomorrow , Thursday, and Friday…they won’t play again until Saturday. Plus in baseball it’s called gamesmanship. You don’t roll over for another team (Braves) when another team is that close in the race (Cards). If the Cards crap the bed, Manual will say, “You had your chance, I’m resting my guys tomorrow”. It’s already been covered on the Phils pregame show.
