I think Braves could break a record here. They could become the 1st team ever to make it to postseason after not having double digits in the win column in september……..Has anyone check about that one?

Is it safe to say that Houston is more reliable than our Braves? They are doing their job to perfection.

This organization is so amazing that there is a big chance we will see Lowe start a game in October if Astros win today and tomorrow (since we are not good enough to help ourselves).

Phillies had a 2.8 runs per game avg in their last 8 games or something like that, just to come to Atlanta and more than double that stat in just 2 games………LOL

DOB remind Freddi about Lowe last 15 starts and I bet he would tell you in 12 of those games he gave us a chance to win.If hes in are rotation next year there were in trouble.I was for Teheran starting tonight but just like Delgado and Minor for what with this offence. Heyward should start next year in AAA.

6-0 in the 6th. Another “biggest game of the year” and another stinker to this point. No hitting and no fire. Lowe with another subpar effort and Prado with another loaf to 2B (and as I type, another weakly hit ground ball).

I do hope the Braves come back and win or at least win tomorrow, make the playoffs, and win it all.

If that does not happen, changes have to be made. I would be shocked if the Braves fired Wren or Fredi, but at least Parrish has to go. If not for things directly his fault, the poor hitting during the collapse necessitates a change in hitting coach.

Lowe will not be back as a Brave starter. He has had his chances to redeem himself and after his last outing I was hoping tonight would be solid as well. Of course it was not. The Braves will do all they can to get rid of Lowe and eat a substantial part of his salary to do so. If he is impossible to trade, he will be in the bullpen.

Jurrjens or Hanson will be traded if there is anyone willing to give the Braves close to market value.

Look for Prado to get moved as well and the Braves will look to add a solid bat in LF. The only way Prado stays a Brave is if Chipper retires this offseason (unlikely due to his contract but his affect is flat as can be – either he is retiring or his pain is even worse than he is letting on). Shortstop becomes a decision point. Stop gap or significant trade for a more long term upgrade? Or do you chance it with Pastornicky.

McCann and Ross need to stay the Braves catching duo with McCann getting more days off early in the season. He is beat.

Heyward needs to play fall or winter ball and really work on fixing his swing. Would someone please get him to stand closer to the plate?? Next year is huge for Heyward. He will either reestablish himself as a prime time talent or he will move down the road of overhyped busted prospect

Why did Fredi pitch Lowe tonight? He should have started Medlin for at least 3 or 4 innings. There something about this manager I don’t like. Where is Smoltz, Pendleton, Nixon, Bream, Lemke, or other old Braves at to give these bums a pep talk and remind how the Braves in the 1990’s rose to the occasion to get to the playoffs winning 5 NL pennants and a World Series? These guys have no spunk or drive it seems.

Shame on McCann for staying in box too long while his bloop hit the line. He should have been at 2nd. Those are the mistakes losing teams make. Sorry to say it doesn’t seem to make any difference. This is not a championship caliber team. In fact they are on the verge of losing to every division opponent series to finish the season. Do they have anyone who can act as a batting coach? And how may different pairs of batting gloves does Heyward own?
