Back to Losersville for the Braves. This collapse will set the franchise back to 80’s like standards.

Way to go, Fredi … and Lowe … and BMac … and Heyward … and Chipper’s big mouth … and on and on!

Since Fredi was so confident about them making the playoffs I hope he made it a prerequisite that in order to get a NLDS start you needed to pitch at least 5 innings in your last start of the year. Lowe didn’t and didn’t leave with an injury, that should disqualify him

dear god, will you ever stop defending Lowe?? The guy is garbage, yet you run to his defense every chance you get. Lowe has sucked his entire time in Atlanta, except for one month last year. Give it a rest.

Dear god would you open your freaking eyes and realize at this point with the injuries to the staff we don’t exactly have many other options. If this offense had picked up a run or two here or there its a very manageable game. Go ahead hate Lowe but he’s here and he was the best we had tonight. B*tching and moaning like some immature 12 year old isn’t going to change that fact. Like I said he could have pulled a Glavine at the end of the mets epic meltdown but he didn’t. He tried to give us something. What’s so wrong about saying that. The guy was trying.

Evan, agree, but guarantee you Charlie will roll out the October starting 8 again tomorrow. Blanton’s pitching for a spot in the post season bullpen, and has been strong since coming off the DL. And Hamels will be pitching a few innings out of the bullpen behind Blanton. So no easy game tomorrow either.

I apologize – Lowe only gave up 4 runs rather than 5 (of course the runner at 1st is his should he score) and I thought he’d get 5 innings in rather than only 4. A run an inning – that’s about right for our Ace!

Perhaps it normally makes no sense, but in this case, I think it may make sense to send Lowe out no matter if you have to eat his 15 mil contract. How can Fredi or this team or the fans not look at this guy and associate him with doing his share to help faciliate the Braves historic meltdown. Lowe will be a constant reminder of a bad marriage and bad result.

Just let him go.

If the Braves miss the play-offs, how soon will you and Fredi go riding together? — UKUGA

Not planning on it, since we did it last winter for an introductory story before his first year as manager. Why, you want to go along? Or that just make you feel better, when your team is disappointing you, to make a snarky comment that has nothing to do with anything?
