I took my 77 year old dad down for a game earlier in June, along with my son, brother, nephew and nephew’s 2 year old (who wore his glove the entire 10 innings!). What a great experience!
Almost as fun as taking mom and dad a year ago on their 56th anniversary! My mom was doing the tomahawk chop and the wave! A site to see four shore.

Great job by DLowe. O’Flaherty comes in and restores order.
After two sucky games, Fredi is going for the jugular. O’Ventbrel should mean this game goes in the W column.
I suspect, if DLowe had been on a roll, Fredi would have let him go further in the game. But, 7 innings of 3 hit ball is such an improvement, let the guy go out with a positive rather than a negative.

Thanks! I will take them seriously. I’m ready to get total (or as close to that as possible) use of my hand/wrist back. I’ve already been without it since the beginning of June. Never imagined spending my summer the way I have.
Btw, you should see the difference in my 2 hands—my right one is tan, the left one is sooo white!! (from being in a cast all summer.

cabravesfan, the hubby’s vacation plan for next year is a dive trip off San Diego. Well, they sail out of SD down off the coast of Mexico somewhere, anyway. I am not interested in the dive trip, so he’s putting me up at one of the nicer resorts in SD. I think I might have said something about it before. Would be cool if I could plan it around an Atlanta @ SD game and you and VJ come down for that and we all get together.
