any of you stat guys (obviously I am not one being an “old man” compared to Shaun) know what CHipper’s stats are since he moved out of the 3rd spot in the order. He seems to be fluorishing in the 5th to 6th spot in the order (and having fun doing it!!!).

Thanks for asking. Recovery is a little slow going, but there’s been some improvement in my ability to move my fingers this past week. I’m starting physical therapy next week.

DOB, have you visited the new Target Field in Minneapolis? I was there over the weekend and caught a game. Very intimate atmosphere. A very small footprint for a modern major league ballpark. I quite liked it. By comparison, Turner Field seems gigantic.

Okay, feel free to say what you will but when I saw the 3-1 pitch from Lannon I thought D-Lowe would have had a home run had he swung.
If he had swung at that pitch he would have killed it.
3-1 was right down the middle. Any of us could have gotten it out of the infield.
Not saying I called it but I just thought if he gets another one like that, all he has to do is make contact and it’s gone.
Can we maybe back off the starting pitching now for a couple days? I mean, do they have to do everything?
Anyway, nice goin’ D-Lowe.

Appreciate that sound advice.
I can’t say I’m looking too forward to it much, but its a means to an end. And I cannot wait until that point in time—where it doesn’t hurt, where it doesn’t swell, where I can actually put weight on it, bend it, etc. 
Alcohol should be a good accompaniment to the pain.

Good to see Matty D get another chance with the Bravos. If he is the Matty D of the past couple of seasons, he won’t help much. If he is the Matty D of 2009 or 2007, then he’ll be a welcome addition.
