I like your thinking. Zimmerman would be a nice replacement for Chipper but I think that the NATS may not want to give him up. When he is up for FA?

Prado has had a really bad year to what I expected out of him. He just doesn’t look right, everything he swung at last year was a line drive it seemed, and he hit those high fastballs very well

I do find it interesting that Diaz was acquired with that 2 million dollar price tag on him for next year. I think Hinske is a solid player at 1.5 million. Just not sure who plays CF next year if Bourn needs a day. Perhaps they will work to acquire a back up/utility SS who can also play CF in a pinch.

I’m not being a Heyward-hugger here, but I really hope they give Jason every opportunity next year to play every single day. Not just 20 games either. Part of me just thinks he’s on a short leash next year. An even shorter one with LHP – which is why I think Matty D is here right now.
