Wow, Jurrjens is really stinking up the joint. At least there no doubt about who’s gonna win this game. It’s a cakewalk for the team with a losing record. And Lannan will do well against us tomorrow also. Losing to these guys is so old.

Jurrjens is nothing more than batting practice. Hopefully he can keep his ERA from completely skyrocketing so we can get some value for him this offseason. His mediocre stuff is getting exposed.

I figured those scoring opportunities the Braves squandered would haunt them. Jurrjens has nothing anymore and the offense has been stagnant for the past couple of weeks. This team is just playing lethargic baseball right now. Thankfully they opened up a substantial lead in the Wildcard.

JJ’s 88 mph fastball was solid earlier this season when he was locating well. When he isn’t locating well, the Braves might as well put Pendleton out there to throw some batting practice to the opposition.
This staff is more than ready for the young guys to take over.

Kinda figured I’d log on tonight and see a lopsided score favoring the AAA Nats. The Braves wouldn’t be the Braves if they didn’t suck it against Washington, look like zombies after a day or two off, suffer damage from a BMac error, and leave an army of guys on base–most of them by Agone.
But, there is still much to be optimistic about. WC is a lock.

We had a chance to fire Parrish around the all star break but passed. I believe making that move would had fired up this offense. I’m pretty sure this will be the offense that shows up in the playoffs against really good starters.

It’s fun taking 6 or 7 vs San Fran and Arizona but it’s these match-ups against bottom feeders that will continue to make me cringe. This team has the ability to win as often as it has the ability to mail it in. I’d like to see a little more killer instince but what can you do when the bases are loaded and you follow it with Agon, Heyward, Pitcher? Teams should just walk us to get to that.

Wow, this is just plain disappointing. Braves play crappy against Mets, then don’t play for three days, come back and play crappy against the Nats.
I guess they could still come back, but even if they win this game, this does not bode well with JJ being ineffective AGAIN
