Seven Braves are headed to the Arizona Fall League, announced on Tuesday, and none of them include the Braves big minor league guns: Julio Teheran, Arodys Vizcaino and Randall Delgado. Those three have worked plenty of innings this season and will all be busy with the Atlanta Braves during the stretch run.
Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez confirmed Tuesday either Teheran or Delgado would make the start in the Braves’ Sept. 8 doubleheader against the Mets. He said the Braves will make their September call-ups in stages, so as not to leave the Triple-A Gwinnett roster bare during its playoff run.
Among those invited to the prestigious Fall League include this year first-round draft pick left-hander Sean Gilmartin, right-handers Billy Bullock, Erik Cordier and J.J. Hoover, catcher Christian Bethancourt, second baseman Phil Gosselin and outfielder Todd Cunningham.

Pathetic. Get 3 days off and you come out playing like this. Crap team will as always lose in the first round if they do make the playoffs.

I wonder why Terdoslavich isn’t invited while Gosselin and Cunningham are. he has had a solid season with more power than the other two. all are college guys from the 2010 draft.

Is there any other team in the majors that could make the Nationals look like the ‘27 Yankees…..and after three days to rest up for them. How does a team like that deserve a Wild Card.

Why wouldn’t the Braves send Pastornicky to the AFL? Given the need for a SS next year and his success at AAA it seems like a no-brainer.
