love to read all the comments when the braves face a good pitcher as to why they can not hit him….
just think the phillies have 5 of those type of guys….what will they say then ,,,,,you all keep talking about adjustmernts that are constantly being made by the team but the results are always the same when facing a good pitcher …ho hum here we go again …

The Phillies have managed to lose 46 games so far this season, so I wouldn’t say that their pitchers are unhitable, every single outing.

It doesn’t matter what Fredi G. doing or thinking about during a game? It’s what in the world are the Brave players thinking or if their mined is in the game at all.
They will not catch the Phil’s or come close, unless they start paying attention to the game at hand and stop their spacewalk when the game begins
Fredi G. does what he can, no he won’t get kick out like Cox.

This game had me scratching my head more than once. Bottom line is you could tell the team wanted nothing to do with that game and was already boarded on the flight home. I am just hoping that the extra days off doesn’t hurt their momentum.

Some people think the Braves should win every game and pitchers should never have a bad outing but that ain’t the way it works in baseball, If you win a 100 games you also lose 62, If you bat 300 that means you only get 3 hits out of 10 at bats, Baseball is a game of stats born out over 100 years, thats what good managers understand and FG was taught by the best, Bobby Cox, The Braves will make the play-offs and with a little luck, Some good pitching and some timely hitting they could go to the World Series, That the beauty of the game.

The Braves’ performance Fridy night was disturbing. Where’s the will to win every game possible? The effort displayed by most of the players was poor at best. It’s difficult to support a team, or anyone, that doesn’t give 100% every day! There’s something missing with the Braves attitude or heart or enthusiasm, I can’t figure out what’s wrong, but it’s frustrating. I’m not sure Chipper Jones is the best clubhouse leader. I know he’s been a talented MLB player, but that doesn’t mean he’s qualified to be a leader.
