This is so demoralizing. Sitting here watching this pathetic team that’s been treading water since the AS break while all the best talent gets traded away, knowing that all you can hope for is whatever Wren can scrape out of the bottom of a dumpster.

I am sick of people talking about ” not giving up the future” and “all the people who complain”….They have every right to complain.. People want an opportunity to see a champion now and when you have the resources to make a move toward a championship you do it..the future isn’t promised to anyone..we been looking toward the future since the one and only championship for this atlanta team..like i’ve been saying..no one from the top of this organization to the bottom has any rocks…..

Go look at beltrans post season stats before you criticize.
I was not criticizing ,
I know his post season stats….He was the best availible hitter and was a rental that cost a top prospect,I would have preffered him to Pence but both were not what the Braves really needed.

I don’t get what you guys are criticizing Pence for. He’s much more than a “marginal” player. The guy was an all-star this year, has a .300+ average…. last time I checked, that’s more than a “marginal” player. That’s another All-Star in a lineup already filled with All-Stars and the best pitching staff in baseball.

Do Phillies have an unlimited supply of prospects. Drafting late and they’ve managed to trade for Oswalt, Halladay, Lee, and now Pence. Not to mention signing 2 type A players in Ibanez and Lee. Werth was signed by the Nats and they had a protected pick.
