Lexbrave and Mixxo, I think they would have pitched around McLouth, probably walked him, to face D-Lowe. I guess it would have been the same result.

I believe you, I just don’t think they are valid excuses in 2011. You are telling me you are late multiple times a week because of equipment, connection, WordPress, etc issues? That may fly at a small company like Cox communications but I’m saying that’s pretty weak.

Braves fan, this would be a very fair deal for both the Mets and the Braves. As a Met fan living in Atlanta I follow the Braves closer than I need to, you need a bat…desperately. In fact, that’s the one thing you need to put you over the top. Oh, you need a CF too. Yes, Beltran has been injured but he’s proven, this year, that he’s back to 100% health. He’s played more than any other Met this season and he’s been the most productive. I can tell you that, if you were to obtain Beltran, it would be the missing piece. I honestly believe you’d make a WS run.
So, would you be willing to trade Minor for a World Series Championship? I think you would and I think you should. You have the pitching. You have the BP. You need a bat. And, this bat is a switch hitting bat that would EXCEL in the hitter friendly confides of Turner Field. A line up consisting of Freeman, McCann, Heyward, Uggla AND Beltran would be nasty….even if it were for only a few months. World Series don’t come around too often, you fans should know that the most.

Umm… Beltran can’t play CF anymore, and he’s hitting .232 vs. lefties. If you’re relying on his playoff experience, his last AB was a knee buckling curve ball from former Brave prospect Wainright.
