santa rosa stretches from ft pickens all the way to the destin pass so not sure where he is…most well known for p’cola beach but includes navarre – lovely place to visit

Ghost of Greg Norton: I’ve never met anyone who had even the slightest problem with Matt Diaz, quite possibly the nicest, most down-to-earth professional athlete I ever met. Seriously, he got along with EVERYone. His clubhouse reputation was a big reason he had multiple teams make him offers after a really mediocre season, including two-year offers.

Tiger, are there any real nice places in Panama City that don’t have all of the hotels along the beaches? I haven’t been in a long time, but I do remember the hotels across the beach.

so if you want to party PCB is probably best – if you want relaxing houses/beaches not big crowds you want between destin & PCB (seaside/watercolor places like that). Destin is less party but still tons of people. P’cola is less tourist and more locals with tons of military. And don’t forget Orange Beach to Gulf shores (and perdido key) basically smaller version of destin

tiger, I am not a party person. I do enjoy Destin. Beautiful waters. Yeah, P’Cola is full of Sailors in their initial training outside of boot camp. I heard a lot of stories about P’Cola.

uga – you coming back to atlanta? Orange Beach/Gulf Shores is closer to mobile (I think they have a hampton on the beach) and a little easier to get back to 65 (and home). Not much difference between them probably more things to do in gulf shores/orange beach (check to see if there is a concert at the wharf in orange beach). But I did love P’cola.

uga – that first post was in response to trey…when are you going? I loved P’cola (lived there for an incredible year) but if you want to do something other than golf.lay on the beach gulf shores/orange beach might suit you better. That being said its been quite a few years since I’ve lived there so take what I say with a grain of salt. Where is P’cola Brave when you need him LOL

McLouth isn’t of All Star caliber, but he unfortunately made it once. Trey
he was all-star quality that year. He had the highest OPS of all NL CFers in 2008. Third highest in all of baseball among qualified CFers. That’s an all-star AFAIC.

divorce sucks. she shakes her booty on weekends, forcing me to babysit the damn kid.
she gets stuck with the regret during the week. the little goalie slipper is at school during the week. then in daycare until 6. goes to bed at 8ish. she has to deal with the little trap for an hour a morning 4 days a week, and for 2 hours a night 4 days a week. 12 waking hours a week she tolerates the brat. i keep the little mistake from the time she leaves school on friday afternoon until i take her to school on monday morning. 35 waking hours for moi with the little ruckus. 3 times as much time wasted with the big mistake than the biggest mistake wastes with the big mistake. but i pay child support and live in a tenement. she has the house. i am a loser.

I’m not so sure that his agent will be a determining factor.
If they even think about dealing him it will more likely be because he is about as valuable right now as ever and perhaps a bit because they worry about his injury history at a young age and/or do not see him continuing to pitch so much better than his peripherals.
I like him and have mixed feelings about it, but for the RIGHT guy I guess I would do it
