What the hell are we doing with Freeman running with ASS Uggla batting . Freddi really likes him. Last Saturday on the highlites all we seen was his 3 run homer boy that was a big one we were winning 7-1. Heyward belongs in AAA has he had a game where he hit the ball hard twice in a game. Last year thumb this year shoulder I say its an excuse called a slump. Go McCann and Freeman your the only two that swinging good . This is a joke watching Uggla Gonzo Schafer McClouth . Hanson should of gave you a rehab start but no one was going to win tonight because of are stinken offence. King Felix tomorrow against are 15 million man Mariners 5 Braves 0 cant wait for post game comments I know great pitching can sure stop a stinken Braves offence.
what a disgrace. throw a little party for these sorry parrishioners. gave them a piñata to hit, and not one of these sorry parrishioners breaks the piñata. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
With this offense lately it is almost means to celebrate when they have a runner on base. Please, somebody prevent Parrish from making it to the park beause he never will be fired. When was the last time the Braves organization fired a coach during the season?
“scary part is that we are using the dh and still cannot generate any offense.”
Ouch! That one hurts like a Kick to the Balls!
Its Time to “Ol Yeller” Larry Parrish! He ain’t cuttin it! Its a low down dirty shame that the players on the team listen to Chipper’s Dad and B-Macc’s Brother as opposed to the old Slug…I’ve had it up to here
Chuck and Matt on 680AM the Fan need to start Calling him out!
I predicted Hanson would be rusty in his first start back. I was right. Predicted with a righty pitching we’d score just enough to win. That hasn’t happend, though Uggla just hit one out. Good start.
DOBThose were majors-high 20th and 21st steals allowed by Hanson
And yet…you don’t see that on leader boards. But the catcher? OH YEAH! Put HIS name on the FRIGGIN’ leader board!! It’s all HIS fault, right?? RIGHT???
WRONG!!!!!!! They could have called that a PASSED BALL and I wouldn’t be this friggin’ T’D OFF!!!
Its not just him, Teams run at will on all our pitchers…I have said this for years, and I was told by some on here that I needed to learn the game before making such a Ludacris post!
Actually heard someone on the radio say today that he missed steroids and all the offense it was responsible for in the game. I wish I could have asked if he also missed human growth hormones and all those other shortcuts that in their finest manifestation distorted individual results and team results. He also mentioned how they were so effective in prolonging the careers of guys and bringing guys back from injury so quickly.
I’m sure not “everybody” agrees with me but I’m glad they are basically being moved out of the game. It will take a couple of years forclubs to be able to ascertain what the true talent levels of guys are, but that’s good. Right??
Several people here have made this point: would it kill these hitters to be patient instead of hacking away at every pitch? Seems like the hitters (or at least some of them) were more patient at times during the last homestand. When they were their patience paid off. Suddenly they reverted to hacking at everything. I’m no hitting guru, but two outs in four pitches?
It’s not my obsession with BMac—it’s my obsessive hatred for opposing teams’ stolen bases…and it just keeps getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and……
Strange fact: my fantasy baseball team has 5 HRs and 5 RBI tonight. Solo shots from Uggla, Ichiro’s, Longoria, Alexei Ramirez, and Holliday and nothing else.
nolee will love this, but I do have to say Schafer might not be the answer to our problems at leadoff. Not that I expected anything great in the first place and he wasn’t exactly tearing it up when he got up here, but he was doing just enough I thought. Now, I’m hoping we could possibly get somebody more consistant there.
K’s and fly balls are a bad sign like they were showing on tv.

you are not a good Fantasy Baseball manager unless pick up the Braves opposing Pitcher every night!!! My Team ERA has dropped 1.5 points in the last month.
agree Eric – despite our injuries (which everyone has) it still comes down to Uggla hitting, Heyward hitting, and finding an answer in CF (and probably SS as well).
Big Red Struggled early but has settled Down he is still giving the team a chance to win…Thats what good pitchers do. Too bad it seems that he has the Lowest run support in the game for a pitcher who has made 70 starts in his career?
Schafer just isn’t a MLB player. I think you will see that kid fade into the sunset in the next few years. I know the injury set him back & the PED deal did as well, but he’s not showing much IMO.

Wren is really going to earn his money if he is going to improve our offense without gutting the minors. I just don’t see many significant trades – more teams going for the one piece to take them to the top (taking a higher priced veteran or someone at the end of their contract). It will likely require a couple trades.
My dream scenario, being a Tarheel, would be to get ackley and put him in CF (costing us Martin Prado, Delgado, and ?? something else). Then getting Hunter Pence for LF (costing us Minor and another prospect).
