2-0 down is like 14-0 down with Pineida on the mound and the Braves offense…

Baller, I just checked and he has never hit .280 in his life(Unless you count high school and little league). Highest average was .276 and has never been in the .270s again and never been in the .260s. A lot of .250s and lower though.

Schafer might get his sprints in tonight the way it looks.

Hanson is struggling. Get him out of there. Too many sliders and fastballs topping out at 90 – 91. Doesn’t look to be himself.

Regarding Dan Uggla, I really believe his approach at the plate must change, and, if he cannot change it himself–he has to get advice from someone else. The orders to him to accept and implement some ‘changes,’ must come from the skipper–basically, if Dan is resistant to change or help….he must have a ’sit down’ with Mr. Wren….potentially sooner than later.

That’s right Frankie Wren, continue to NOT do anything to improve your club’s offense and they will be 8 games out by the All Star break. Continue to employ a leadoff hitter that has an OBP below .300. Continue to employ a hitting coach who so obviously does not know what he is doing. Doesn’t know how to teach approach or adjustment. Continue to play a guy EVERY DAY that is hitting .175.

As for you Fredi, continue to not know how to construct a lineup. Continue to try hit and runs with slow runners [Freeman tonight] and hitters that have a large % of swing and misses [Uggla tonight]. Continue to play your teacher’s pet Danny Boy when he couldn’t get a hit off of a slow pitch softball pitcher.

Just keep it up guys and you soon will not have a chance at the division OR the Wild Card.
