Who is better than him besides maccan.
T for Texas-
I can’t have DirecTV here. Won’t let us put anything on the roof. I miss my DirecTV so much. If Time Warner was sucked into the vortex of hell, I would be happy.
June 28th, 201110:07 pm
Does that mean this is the end of the blog war between Captain and Nolie?
June 28th, 201110:08 pm
From the pressbox at Safeco Field. Seahawks play next door (can see top of stadium at upper left)

June 28th, 201110:10 pm
Let’s play some baseball
@Trey….As far as I am concerned….re:your 10:07….I wouldn’t have apologized if I planned to continue with that ugly behavior that I had towards him last night.
June 28th, 201110:12 pm
good start for ….nevermind
awesome pic DOB.
the sun rose today…and the phillies won.
June 28th, 201110:13 pm
Captain, I’m pretty sick because I actually enjoyed the arguing when I read it all after work.
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
Glad I missed that…
JC from DR! (You gotta tip your cap to ____)
I love Jason Heyward.
June 28th, 201110:14 pm
Pineida walks the 1st guy, a base stealer and Heyward swings at the 1st pitch??? Not smart
Baller, Are you like, 10 years old or something? If so, I’ll stop telling you the truth about him because I used to like Johnny Oates when I was growing up b/c I got his autograph one time but he wasn’t very good either.
Hey, don’t YOU complain about the start time!!
Walk leadoff hitter and then you swing at a ball on the 1st pitch! Priceless.
June 28th, 201110:15 pm
You must have missed my post on the last page…
Heyward looks like he is leaning back a lot more and standing a lot further from the plate than he did last year when he was hitting well. I don’t know if he actually is or it just seems like it to me.
June 28th, 201110:16 pm
Someone going to call it????
Good start tonight.
June 28th, 201110:17 pm
Ichiro put the M’s on the board. Welcome back Hanson.
Linebrink for Cy
dang … that’s his first homer of the year
Someone please call it???
Damn. Last night I was about to say ”I bet Ichiro and Ryan get their first homers of the year against the Braves” … and look at that…
Ichiro knew what he was doing.
I did miss it, but I still figgered that’s not what you were talking about. The timing was just funny.
June 28th, 201110:18 pm
I’m acctually 26. I don’t have mclouths autograph but he’s still in my top 10
I think I am more frustrated with Heyward’s lack of patience than Hanson allowing that leadoff homer.
@Trey….have patience, I’m sure the blog will have another individual get mad at someone again someday–Happily, I am dropping out of the race for #1 blog scumbag.
June 28th, 201110:19 pm
Ichiro homers on first pitch Hanson throws coming off DL….
Kimbrel, by the way, got to 100 career strikeouts Mon. in 59-1/3 inn., fastest Braves pitcher ever (John Rocker had the mark, 100 K in 70 inn)…
66 degrees at first pitch, which they say is warm here even this time of year at night.
Heyward had an incredible selfish not trying to go the other way AB grounds into a DP McCann strikes out and Hanson gives up a HR to Ichiro………..well we done lost this game guess I’ll turn back to ESPN and watch some GOOD baseball. Fire Larry Parrish but I guess we got a few more shutouts to go.
June 28th, 201110:20 pm
well we done lost this game guess I’ll turn back to ESPN and watch some GOOD baseball. Fire Larry Parrish but I guess we got a few more shutouts to go.
Please do. I mean, clearly this game is over after the first inning. No need to stay
Apparently the heckler traveled from San Deigo to Seattle.
Hanson seems to be struggling with his command in the early going.
June 28th, 201110:21 pm
Well I hope he makes you happy tonight and I have to eat my words.
But I wouldn’t count on it.
Get it done
I know I’m little late here but Ichiro w/homer?
Can we just jump to opening day 2012
June 28th, 201110:22 pm
The “Ballgame” catch phrase is overused but always funny.
June 28th, 201110:23 pm
Did a deflection off the pitcher actually work in the Braves favor? haha
Really!!! Your trying to be nice now.
June 28th, 201110:24 pm
It’s never been funny
Ok. Let’s get that run back.
June 28th, 201110:26 pm
Not really. I just see there is no way for me to get you to see how bad he sucks! Sorry.
Hey DOB, a lot of talk about Jonny Venters all-star campaign. But what about O’Flaherty and Kimbrel? Seems like one could make a case for all three of them to be there.
June 28th, 201110:27 pm
Chipper is struggling
Chipper/Jason not showing any patience early on, need to make this guy work a bit and try to figure out his stuff
T for Texas
The “vortex of hell,” cabravesfan? Remind me never to make ya Time/Warner-angry. LOL
Chipper has been struggling for 3 years now.
What Did I miss?
June 28th, 201110:28 pm
That was the family friendly version
We should get some hits off this guy. Heyward and Chipper had great pitches to hit but just missed them. I know we do that alot but not on those type pitches.
Mclouth will end up hitting about 280 with 20-26 doubles.
any BALLGAMES!!! yet??
How many pitches per game does Chipper sees? 5? 6? 8? 10?
Maybe we can hire Edgar Martinez as special hitting consultant. ( I know there is not such position). Edgar knew a thing or two about hitting.
cab not as angry now. game is on. cab just hates time warner
June 28th, 201110:29 pm
For what it’s worth to you, you have my respect back. Way to MAN up.
(Now let me get the hell off the in-game blog.)
Ladies and gentleman… Braves legend Dan Uggla.
No I’m not pulling your leg.
June 28th, 201110:30 pm
One of these days Uggla is going to wrap that bat around his neck.
Uggla keep your front shoulder in there and maybe you will hit a pitch.
cab angry _ Soph
That sounds like a degree of anger.
Watch out so and so is cab angry
June 28th, 201110:31 pm
@cabravesfan….Of course it’s seriously not funny because it is a ‘put down’ to the Braves and their efforts in the contest, but, to me it’s a bit funny because the people doing it just want to irritate others a bit by saying something totally crazy…..sometimes “crazy” is funny. Hope you’re doing good!
Hugo Z Hackenbush
Hey cab, would this be a good time to point out that Shriekapova won again today?
June 28th, 201110:32 pm
Just stop running or put the ball in play. I have never seen more botched hit and runs. Pathetic.
It’s one step below Explosive-Hide-The-Women-and-Children Angry
If that’s what Brad McCann can do for Brian, maybe they ought to turn him loose on Uggla.
How do you hit and run with a guy hitting .170
What do you know, patient hitters are drawing walks and getting on base tonight.
I hope Frank Wren is watching this game instead of Tosh.0.
2 DPs in 2 innings. I guess the Braves don’t want us to stay late watching the game tonight.
Uggla is about as bad as it gets…
sending Freddie with Uggla having a 3-2 count? Sure, what could go wrong with a speedster and a contact hitter
Why on earth would you hit and run with Uggla at the plate and a slow runner on first who will get gunned down easily when Dan swings and misses?
DAN UGGLA!!!!! What a BOMB!!
i turned back to catch that strike out/ throw out double play well its South Carolina 4 UF 1 in the 7th more interesting game with better hitters
June 28th, 201110:33 pm
great start by the bats
Man is Uggla struggling…He pulled his HEAD so far off that fastball he was looking at SNITKER in the 3rd base coaches box as the pitch went by..
Why do you ever send the runner with Uggla batting?
Fortunately I knew she won before they showed the match here, so I opted to watch the World Cup match with the US rather then listen to her scream on my TV
3 ugly helicopter swings from Uggla, I haven’t been noticing but I don’t think he fouls many pitches off. I think he’s either swing and miss or put the ball in play
“How do you hit and run with a guy hitting .170″
Fredi Gonzalez is the manager.
I’m already getting Clowned on the Phillies Forum!
AWFense? Come On!
June 28th, 201110:34 pm
Uggla has to know he is pulling his head and body out. It is painfully obvious to everyone. Even our announcers showed last year’s swing versus his current swing. He must choose not to change. When he missed that slider he was facing the pitcher. No way could he see his bat hit the ball
I might think twice even with two outs
Boy a good throw would have got him, come on shaffer.
cab just hates time warner
I thought cab just hates Fox?
Hanson’s velocity is down – 90-92 on the fastball
June 28th, 201110:35 pm
HR and 2B… What next a 3B to open next inning?
You just gotta hope Dan Uggla goes up there and hits a homerun every time.
June 28th, 201110:36 pm
