Heyward looks like he is leaning back a lot more and standing a lot further from the plate than he did last year when he was hitting well. I don’t know if he actually is or it just seems like it to me.

Kimbrel, by the way, got to 100 career strikeouts Mon. in 59-1/3 inn., fastest Braves pitcher ever (John Rocker had the mark, 100 K in 70 inn)…

66 degrees at first pitch, which they say is warm here even this time of year at night.

Heyward had an incredible selfish not trying to go the other way AB grounds into a DP McCann strikes out and Hanson gives up a HR to Ichiro………..well we done lost this game guess I’ll turn back to ESPN and watch some GOOD baseball. Fire Larry Parrish but I guess we got a few more shutouts to go.

Uggla has to know he is pulling his head and body out. It is painfully obvious to everyone. Even our announcers showed last year’s swing versus his current swing. He must choose not to change. When he missed that slider he was facing the pitcher. No way could he see his bat hit the ball
