Proctor? Why? Venters needs to be in there…
Way to put out the fire, Proctor!
B-Macc Saved the Sheriff’s Ass that inning!
Good job proctor.
Wow is BMAC amazing or what?
June 29th, 201112:34 am
funny stuff but come on man
I Sherrill is regressing to the mean again.
I’m glad they ran themselves out of a much bigger inning.
Hugo Z Hackenbush
And so the whining stops…for a minute.
must have had the take sign on??
Wow that was straight as a string right down the middle.
June 29th, 201112:35 am
There is Ugglas “meaningless” homer.
Anders, so if you look at the minnesotta catcher who else are you thinking of?
Linebrink for Cy
Frank hope you’re checking out available relief pitchers too. Sherrill and Proctor keeping having these close calls and raising heart rates.
Lol @ the Mets comment. They are not a playoff contender and won’t be for a while. Yeah, they have reyes, buts that’s about all they have…
June 29th, 201112:36 am
DOB anybody warming up??
Let’s put this game out of reach so I can go to bed.
I hope moylans return spells proctor’s farewell.
June 29th, 201112:38 am
Uggla take one for the team.
Nova Scotia Steve
Venters warming up…I don’t even know why he bothers. Dude pitches so much you’d think he’d be constantly warm!
Ugglas OBP still climbing!!!
I am enjoying the second haif of the season so far GO BRAVOS 2 for 3 Dan come on man
June 29th, 201112:39 am
That will help the ol’ OBP.
Way to take one for the team Dan… Maybe that will fix whatever problems he’d been having.
took one for the team
You go Dan!
You just find a way to get on base.
LOL. Maybe that knocked Uggla out of the slump
Alex up with runners in scoring position.
And people were mad about hit and run with Uggla. Psht, Freddi showing his geniusness once again!
June 29th, 201112:40 am
Good hit and run. Please let’s get this run across. Nothing fancy a sacfly will do.
Too bad it’s all for nothing because Auto’s up to bat.
A little bump on the head is exactly what Uggla needs to fix his swing….
Good job uggla way to get to third on that hit. Uggla might be pulling out of this year long funk.
June 29th, 201112:41 am
Gonzo the bozo up with RISP.
Sac Fly with Gonzo?? That would be a huge victory!!!
Hal, your 12:15 comment has to be the dumbest comment i’ve seen on this blog and thats saying a lot. Heyward is hitting in almost every game lately while Mclouth and Shaefer are doing very little. How did you like Mclouths bunt attempt tonight?
June 29th, 201112:42 am
k coming…..AG needs to get on top of the plate
We were mad at FG for the hit and run with uggla at the plate.
Chris from the Rock
Gonzalez seems to walk up to the plate with an 0-2 count every time.
My Name Is Earl
Gonzo is 0 for 16 and people gripe about Schafer?
June 29th, 201112:43 am
0 for16 let’s get a hit for a change or at least a sac fly.
AGON is clutch.
They make more outs in those types of situations. Gonzo is just worthless.
Can we play Lugo tomorrow?????????
Yet another useless AB from Gonzo.
June 29th, 201112:44 am
I hate that play…so does Harold Reynold’s on MLB Network…he talks about it all the time. Just saying…
And Gonzo had the penchent for flyballs until the last couple of atbats when the Braves could have used one.
Even with a hit, Gonzo gets an out.
Time for a Nate McLouth home run.
June 29th, 201112:45 am
At least we got some guys on base this inning. That is a plus!!
I’m for moving Prado to SS and trading for an outfield bat
a-gon just looks lost up there. you can see it in his face.
Venters coming in next.
Gonzalez is definitely up there as the worst fundamental hitter I’ve seen us have.
Last call for Jose Reyes.
Because he’s been so stellar?
June 29th, 201112:46 am
Now thats a good swing!!
Theres some veteran experience. Get that runner in.
I need another Prozac
Our Awfense is horrible Good Grief!
McLouth, say hello to the bench role. Prado is taking your starting job.
I don’t think anyone has mentioned it, but the reason Tommy had such a bad outing tonight was because he trimmed his beard. Just throwing that out there…
June 29th, 201112:47 am
“Gonzalez is definitely up there as the worst fundamental hitter I’ve seen us have.”
I don’t think he knows a ball from a strike.
Just hard to take right there…not getting the much needed insurance runs–wow, really inept.
Here comes the 1st string bullpen, letsvdo this.
It’s gotten so bad with Gonzalez, I’m starting to wonder if even Pastornicky wouldn’t be am upgrade at this point.
They Braves would lose little if any offensively if Lugo started at shortstop. However, with Lowe pitching tomorrow, I want my best defensive players in there because of all the groundballs he generates.
There is no way the D-Backs are good…is there?
June 29th, 201112:48 am
JMan, bet that won’t happen. Gonzalez has impressed so much with his glove that he’s an automatic to start most ever game the rest of the season and probably next season too.
“a-gon just looks lost up there. you can see it in his face”
i think .. he always has that look
Celebrating a win with Marteeen?
JC from DR! (You gotta tip your cap to ____)
Does Gonzalez’ defense really make up for this crap?
Worst offense in baseball (Considering the potential, of course)
Were trying to win inspite of our offense
I hope that missed opportunity doesn’t comeback to haunt us.
J-Man – I’ve thought too about Prado playing SS. But I think I recall him some time ago saying he was no good there.
June 29th, 201112:49 am
If Alex would actually take a pitch or two, maybe he’d get something he could drive. The pitcher was the one in trouble not Alex.
Somebody hit a flyball off Venters. Is that a bad sign?
come back, yunel. you can pout all you want.
Venters ERA has “ballooned” to 1.29.
June 29th, 201112:50 am
venter’s left shoulder flying open. sign of fatigue.
When they hit it that hard…..it’s not a good sign.
2 long outs.
Another flyball. That is no good.
June 29th, 201112:51 am
Yawn, a meaningless catch while slamming into the wall by Heyward. Fire John Schuerholz.
@ Tomahawk Mafia
Derek Lowe pitching groundballs????? If by ground balls you mean balls bouncing in the gap??????
Heyward slammed hard into the wall on that catch. I hope his shoulder is fine.
Great catch, boy I thought that was out of there.
He’s still throwing hard.
Fixin to say if Jack Cust does us in again I’ll puke my lasagna up.
V is still throwing 97 but his turbo sinker is staying up a bit.
June 29th, 201112:52 am
Something is wrong with Jonny. See it?
Two hard hit balls off venters.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
