In a blog where a tie game in the 7th constitutes a loss, and where a loss means that for the next 24 hours you have to complain about how you have the worst team in baseball….yes.
But they have been the lst several years, JD. From this point forward for the next few years however, I would expect them to be a different club, competent. Maybe then the Braves will play them tougher.
jeffrey d – Eating with pleasure. We still have to score a run though. Which with only 1-hit so far semms impossible. The Padres have to run out of lefties at some point, right?
Feel sorry for Hudson and all of the braves starters. If they give up one run, they normally lose. Except for Lowe, hell he gives up one run before he gets the first batter out. The margin for error is so fine for the braves starters that it is pathetic. Wren should be proud to sit in his luxury box every game and watch this team perform offensively. He has built a powerhouse team when it comes to offense. What a joke of a G.M he is.
Hey, guys and girls, for those of you who are my friends on Facebook, check out my album “Camaro for Sale” – this is the car that my husband has built and is for sale. I want to get it in front of Tim Hudson – he can afford what we are asking for it.
Question for anyone… When a pitcher like Adams right now, raises his arms to set and rocks back and forth and then picks up his foot again..is that a balk at all? I always wondered about that extra foot movement that some pitchers have.
Bravo_fan 52… there are quite a few pitchers that do that..and the do it on every pitch so it seems the balk is never called as if because the movement is apart of their normal set…but still it’s extra movement which always confused me …it’s either a balk every time or it’s not ever.. I dunno enough about it.
Anyone else love to see what Nate does in the 8 hole?
I’m not sure that anyone knows why he doesn’t produce the same in the top of the order, but he seems to have a home.
“The Nate Hole.” FTW.
I wonder how SEALS and other Special Forces feel about these guys dressing up like soldiers.I understand it’s done as an “honor” but I wonder what the honorees REALLY think? I know NFL players see themselves as “Warriors”, does that hold for baseball players?
I like Schafer for a late season call-up to come off the bench but we need a leadoff CF ASAP. Coco Crisp or Michael Bourn need to be acquired…Get it done Frank. NOW!!!
