1) nobody ever corrects my grammatical mistakes. Why should I correct yours?
2) Your summer long outdoor project seems to involve a lot of time indoors
3) Craig Stadler is considered a physical speciman…just sayin’!
Some cacaphanous sounds – even in cyberspace, transcend hearing modification. If anything, you’re a prime reason for turning the hearing aid off – way too much static and too little useful sound.
They were talking about it on The Chuck and Matt Show on 680AM The Fan earlier?
I like the idea of trading for Kemp but I have a inner fear that he will pull a Struggla and not hit here…I rather have Reyes or McCutchen or Bourne because speed doesn’t go into slumps…And you put Martini hitting behind of of those players and you can take it to the Bank that we will have 2 runs manufactured every game…!
I laughed my yellow ass off when Chuck Dowdle made one of my “Take it to the Bank” references on Chuck and Matt earlier

Losing two out of three against a San Diego is bound to happen here and there in the course of a regular season, but Atlanta’s overall play during the series left a lot to be desired.
The frontrunner for the pennant is…………Atlanta? Philadelphia? San Francisco?
Milwaukee.
Highly-improved rotation, loaded lineup, bullpen that’s playing well, nice job by management, and two intangibles that rarely get addressed: a would-be, distinct home-field advantage from fans who haven’t seen the playoffs in years and a geographic home-field advantage. Most road playoff games aren’t held in the North in the cold. Yeah, they can adjust the dome, but if it’s not raining/snowing, they might not. Going to Milwaukee intrinsically would be pretty obtuse for Atlanta, Philadelphia, San Francisco, etc. and really wouldn’t be normal for anyone not from the Central, similar to the geographic home-field advantage the Seattle Seahawks have. In any event, they’d be likely to have the best home-field advantage since the Padres had in 1998, when their fans were up and lively on every single two-strike pitch.
I’d like to see McCann move to first base, just because he’s at the age now when the catching toll starts to add up…especially on the knees. Would love to see us have his bat in the lineup for a few more good, productive seasons…instead of the typical fall-off that just about all catchers go through.

OK, let’s make a pact. I’ll do yours if you do mine.

That’s where I keep the cold beer.

I wouldn’t trade for Kemp; the price likely would be too high.

it doesn’t take much to know a catcher wears out quick. While McCann is a good hitter, he is a bad defenseive catcher
