If there was going to be a postgame show they’d ask fans to vote for their MVP of the game after a big loss. There is no MVP. We lost. Freddie’s homerun. I guess.

“In all seriousness the starter for the Padres is a very good pitcher,”

Admitted. Combine that with the fact that the offense for the Braves is very bad, and this is no surprise.

Hey Dan Uggla:

Your lack of adjustments is pathetic. Maybe for tomorrow’s game the Braves will find a way to barricade your hotel room to prevent you from exiting and making your way to the park.

If my research is correct, in the last 7 games including tonight’s game, the Braves (4-3 assuming they lose this game), have score 24 runs, 14 via the home run (58%).

we need a trade CF and a second baseman. Get rid of this AAAA pitcher he his another Jo Reyes. Put Lowe in the bullpen he looked like he was drunk tonight. Another guy that cant hit gets his first homerunand its an unearned run thanks to Uggy.

I can still hear Cox saying in post game interviews:
We hit the ball hard, but nothing to show for. Guys played hard as always, but Padres just played better. Asencio made some pretty good pitches, missed a few by 1/10 of an inch and the padres took advantage. I can feel Uggly is coming out of it (and just when you think jump in joy thinking he will be getting out of the lineup or roster, he goes), out of his slump that is (with a smile on his face.

Hey Idiots(Only referencing people who fit the following categories), How many of you still think this is a “slump”, how many of you think based upon his “baseball card” that he will snap out of it, how many of you think he’s waiting for July when he “warms up”, how many of you think since Wren was an idiot that he must be run out there for rest of the year, how many of you still think this is an aberration, how many of you think that SOMETHING unspoken is not behind a huge part of this, how many of you think a “true” fan supports this clown no matter what, how many of you excuse this because he runs hard after actually putting the ball in play, how many of you think it’s NOT sad that a guy with 60million GUARANTEED may end up having the lowest average of any regular position player in MLB,how many of you think because he looks really, really sad that all this is excused, how many of you don’t think a 31 year old man making 10,000,000 this year can’t afford an adult haircut, how many of you don’t think it’s sad that the Pittsburgh 2B has twice as many RBI’s??

And how many of the rational among you finally realize this was one bad blanking deal with an extension that might come to be viewed as even surpassing Hampton as far as stupidity??

I’m not laying 10 years of failure on him. Just five. And the Lowe contract. And the Kawakami contract. And the Chipper contract. And the Uggla contract. And the half-ass trade deadline acquisitions (he shares fault with our half-ass ownership, Liberty Media, on this one). Walker–I’m no idiot. I just checked the stats and danny Out now has 50!!! hits in 286 AB’s. So what? Well, to be batting .250 after 500AB’s Danny FesteringBoil will have to get 75 hits in next 214 AB’s. So what? That’s a .351 batting average to hit .250 after 500AB’s. It looks a little better for .250 if he gets 600 AB’s because then he only needs to go 100 for his next 314 AB’s. That equates to a neat .311 average. Anyone think this piece of flotsam has a chance to hit .351 or .311 for ANY period of time extending beyond 10 games??
