I just wish the Braves would be honest with it’s fans in situations with injuries to players. that’s all.
A) You’re still missing the point that Prado’s course is NOT atypical for someone getting a staph infection necessitating I&D
B) The Braves are under no obligation to release the health information of their players to the general public.

So why does it take a 27 year old professional athlete in good or great shape 2 or 3 times longer than what the typical recovery?

Apparently, you have no ability to understand everything that we have tried to tell you – I will try one more time – it is not possible to gauge how long it will take to heal – it has nothing to do with age or health – it is a disgusting injury that takes a long flipping time to heal, but there is no set time table. Sorry, but that is the deal – no one is trying to fool us, they JUST DON’T KNOW…

Again, Lowe would be perfect in Boston where if he gave up 4 runs, would still pile up wins.
Unload him and some salary for a low prospect — how much longer we want a guy who wouldn’t see the mound in a possible postseason?

you ask a question looking for some information. maybe 1 or 2 people respond with some decent information… but mostly you get 4 or 5 jaskarses responding with attacks and questions asking where you get information… then it’s followed up with other jackwad comments when you are trying to defend your post… then those same people name call and try and tell you what jerk you are, blah-blah-blah.

The one thing I appreciate about Lowe. He’s saying the same thing now that he’s not getting run support that he was the past couple years when he was getting tons of support – that his job is to won games. Some guys would’ve taken credit for all the wins, then turned around and blamed the offense for the losses. Glad to see he’s not that kind of player.

Well, what can you say? This game, in all seriousness, is going the way it should actually. We can’t hit and for once we are facing a pitcher that has been pitching well. Lowe just sucks and even if he just gave up 1 run, I figured it would be enough.

Gotta know when to get Lowe, Freddie will learn I hope. Guy sinks faster tha the Titanic. Never seen a pitcher yell out @$@$# when his pitching coach makes a visit, he was toast at that point, such a fragile individual.

Umm, yeh gonna have to disagree. If Chipper wasn’t fumbling around with the ball the play would have been made by a good 5-10 feet.

tmc, you’re quite right , I’m about burned out on this. Don’t take it so seriously!! Have some fun. Just remember this while mrsa is getting alot of press, these type of very aggresive infections are still uncommon, even though they are much more usual in the community over the last few years. Unfortunately Prado is having a rough time of it. Every patient is different and unique, making all of us(or most of us) more fun to deal with!! Medicine CANNOT tell you how an individual will respond to therapy, medicine will give you percentages which is helpful, but not definitive. We are all a study of 1. Think fat tails and black swans!!

I know there is about 0% chance that we will do this, and I know this has been discussed and shot down on here multiple times, but if Uggla is still hitting like this when Prado comes back, I think we have to send Uggla down to the minors until he sorts this thing out.
