Oh, I sure hope Jason is back soon and playing like it’s 2010. Mather just stinks, stinks, stinks. You know the old saying, guests, like fish, stink after 3 days? Well, we’ve had Mather for a lot longer than 3 days and he was good for only a few of the ones we have had him. . . .”

Not a bad analogy at this point.

Yes lowe did not have it tonite, but neither did the braves offense. To start the game, schafer, uggla set the stage, and bmac, chipper, freeman all failed to produce.Last game lowe pitch,he took a 2-0 lead and got no decision against fla.I think lowe is the pitcher with no run support,2 runs in 2 games is not going to win games.

You can’t run Mather, Young, and Hicks out there and expect to score runs. Plus, Lowe is the weak link in the rotation, so they never had a chance tonight. I hated the Lowe signing the day it happened. Minor could make all of Lowe’s starts for the rest of the year and the Braves would be no worse off.

Whattya expect when you have to run the JV lineup out there. Mather, Young and Hicks aren’t gonna help you score very many runs.

In fact, based on what I’ve seen the last couple of days, I haven’t seen anything from Hicks offensively or defensively to indicate to me that he’s anything more than organizational filler. Freeman has saved him at least 3 errors on throws. He’s not ML material and I would have to think there has to be someone on the waiver wire the Braves could pick up cheap who would bring more to the table.
