Missed the game today (mercifully), but I just started laughing when I saw extra innings again. The outcome is almost irrelevant at this point. The offense is simply incapable.

Ought to be fireworks in the clubhouse, followed by some swift kicks in the butts. Unfortunately, there aren’t any leaders here, either on the player’s side, or the manager.

Offense is down throughout baseball this year. Folks need to recalibrate.
Braves have several starters on the DL … McLouth, Heyward, might as well be Chipper.
Schafer is doing a good job covering for McLouth. But, Hinske is starting to be over-exposed and Conrad is no Chipper.
Uggla is probably trying to do too much to cover for the other woes. He’s never been the greatest hitter anyway – trying to be something he isn’t is making that even worse.
Until folks start coming off the DL, Braves are going to have to maximize runs scored.

actually McFann, it is.. Chris Capuano, the pitcher for the mets, has had it twice. I still say that Fredi onzalez is not major league manager material, never has been, never will be. he will to do to Venters and Kimbrel what Dusty Baker did to Wood and Prior. I hope not, but the way it’s going, I wouldn’t be surprised a bit. I still don’t like him, and I won’t until he shows that he actually knows what the hell he is doing.

Today’s loss, like almost every loss so far this season, is on the offense. Game after game, it’s the same ole story. the way this team has pitched, they should be in first place.

Today was another one of those games where we played down to the Level of our opposition while the Phillies did what they always do and that is beat teams that they are supposed to beat…This team especially the Awfense is so frustrating to watch because we all know that this team is a lot better than they have showed so far…

We can’t fire Fredi because of his three year contract, but please get rid of the old guy with white hair on his chin. We need for this team to start scoreing runs. I can not remember a worse hitting Baves team and I have been following them since the mid 1980s.

Do you really think Fredi is doing a good job? Do you want the season to continue the way it is going now? The season is slipping away. This team was supposed to contend for 1st with the phills. We are 30-25 only because of our pitching and Fredi is wearing out the pen Venters not as sharpe as he was earlyer.

LTBF – you blame Fredi for EVERYTHING. When we win, you make comments that suggest the Braves won in spite of him. Yes, I’ve questioned decisions he’s made but to constantly advocate for his firing 2 months into his first season and blame him for every loss is ridiculous, imo.

True, but my man, we have to Clown the bottom feeders if we are gonna win 93 games and get the Wildcard…The 90’s Braves teams always made the playoffs because they beat the crap out of the bottom feeders…I mean look at it the 1993 Braves went undefeated against the Rockies that year, If they had lost 1 game to the Rockies that year, they wouldn’t made the playoffs…
And look at the 2009 Braves Squad? If they Had taken care of Biz-ness against AAA teams like Pittsburgh that year they would’ve made the playoffs…but Like I have been saying my man, This team has been seriously frustrating to watch so far, because we all know that they are better than their record indicates…Gotta get back to watching old New York Undercover

Loss 6-7 this afternoon. Newbie relief closer MATT FREVERT [BS 1, 1-1, 15.43 ERA] 0.1 IP, 2 H, 4 R/ER, 2 BB, 0 SO is anything but as he is savaged by SALEM bats.
CHRIS MASTERS [ND, 3.00 ERA] experiences control problems this start. He lasts 5.1 IP, 2 H, 2 R/ER, BUT 6 BB, 3 SO, 1 HR.
Middle relief HAYNES [BS 2, 4.85 ERA] ineffective through 2.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R/ER, 3 BB, 1 SO. Too many walks again.
Hitting decent 10 hits including four doubles, but because of ineffective pitching HILLCATS lose.

lol, Speaking of Spanish informercials…I actually asked D.O.B.if he used to kick it at Salsa Bars down there in S. Florida or listen to any Reggaeton music. There is nothing better than Salsa Dancing to some Pit Bull/J-lo, but Salsa dancing is hard, but it does make you lower body firm, trust me

Last year and I would think every year the players liked and had respect for Bobby because they knew he always had thier back. He always could be heard in dugout encourgeing the hitters and on closes calls he would be on field to argue. Of course that is not all there is to be a MGR,but it sure helped. Bobbys record speaks for its self. This years team on paper is better than last years. I think if there was a way Bobby could came back and finish the season things would get better in a hurry.

Still, what’s the difference between blending your meat and wine and drinking it versus chewing your meat and washing it down with a glass of wine? You’re just combining the two tastes and swallowing.

VJ … I think if you substitute rum for vodka in “steak surprise” and add a little pineapple, you get “Polynesian steak surprise.”

Both, In my Freshman year of College I played baseball at Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton Fl- Glades Road), Transferred to the University of Arkansas Sophmore year, Didn’t play baseball there…But I miss hanging out with Darren McFadden and Ronnie Brewer….
