What a terrible inning. A team needs to cash in a leadoff double everytime. Sadly, this team consistently fails to string together fundamental plate appearances.
As bad as Struggla is right now, what are the Braves options? Move Prado back to second and start an outfield of Hinske-Schaefer/McLouth-Heyward? Then what do you do with Struggla? Can’t have that much salary picking splinters out his backside. Can’t trade him anywhere.
I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, http://GoGetBids.com
How in the Hell are you guys going to react IF Ugly eventually hits a homer in the bottom of the 9th to win a game??/ Will you actually be on here saying “Where are all the Uggla bashers now?” or would your reaction be maybe he is being paid 60 million to once in awhile hit a homer to win a game?
Hey now, Esasky was coming off a pretty big year for the Sox, signed with the Braves and got a heaping helping of vertigo that essentially ended the big fella’s career. Struggla has no such malady to contend with. Not as far as anyone knows.
Maybe time for someone to “drop” a weight on his toe in the weight room. Maybe he can pull a Al Czervik from “Caddyshack” — “ooh, ooh, my arm, I think it’s broken.”
@VaBravesFan…..Re: 3:03…..I think you are correct but he needs, as stated earlier, at least 10 ABs–so the game and his heroics will eventually come to pass later….perhaps much later, than you have predicted.
I say give Venters,EOF,Kimbrel the day off today. We cant run those guys out there every flippin game cause we can never get a lead of more than 2 runs. Good inning by Proctor we needed it.

Must have missed it…she’s getting some luck too, playing girls that are either young and froze up at the big moment (Garcia, who should have won that match) or vets that are not known for their mental strength (Radwanska, who should have at least won that 2nd set)
My prediction could come true, Uggla is due up in the 9th.. It might actually be better for him to lead off the 9th than him batting with runner’s on in the 8th. pretty sad. Either way he has a chance to win the game for us soon.
