The strikeouts by Chipper have to stop. They are coming at an alarming rate.
JC from DR! (You gotta tip your cap to ____)
Chipper is been infected with Ugglativitist.
That’s it Mac, make a plus, a minus!
really comical team.
May 28th, 20119:49 pm
Stop making outs on the basepaths!!
One of the reasons I’m against making an early panic trade this season is the trade that was made for Nate in the first place.
AGon with a great play.
Linebrink For Cy
May 28th, 20119:50 pm
see Mac, no harm no foul. That would have been a inning ending DP anyways.
Freeman is a vacuum cleaner at first.
This team continues to prevent themselves from playing consistent winning baseball by making woeful and stupid mistakes. What a poorly coached baseball club.
Second base is the place where Braves go to die.
Dumb play by McFat…
sigh. I was hoping it would last JC
May 28th, 20119:51 pm
Venters in for Braves
May 28th, 20119:52 pm
Chipper is throwing at bats…he’s betting on the reds.
Agon and Freddiee! Slick!
May 28th, 20119:53 pm
Thanks for giving it back Cincy
Woah, I didn’t know shoes were edible. First thing chipper needs to do is get rid of that goofy haircut. You wanna stay as far away from anything Uggla-like.
I telling you all this–we are going to win this darn game tonight!!!!!!!
May 28th, 20119:54 pm
Venter’s stuff looks like a left handed Smoltz when he was in the pen.
phils up now 5 – 2…
May 28th, 20119:55 pm
Fox jinx …. JV gives up a hit
I get tired of those infield squibbers that become hits for the Braves opposition. I think the Reds have about three of those in this series.
May 28th, 20119:56 pm
YEAH! Rolen out!!
Rollin’ is out at 2nd!!
May 28th, 20119:57 pm
a shame that the great Chipper doesn’t know when to hang it up……kinda like watching Namath when he played for the Rams.
Finally a break in favor of the Braves!
May 28th, 20119:58 pm
Freddie’s freakishly long legs come in handy there…
Again—we will win tonight!!!
Rolen pulled a McFat…thanks!
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
May 28th, 20119:59 pm
Wow…4 hits for BMac tonight!
I love the Reds!!
It’s obviously time to bench Uggly…he’s killing us offensively…now chipper is tanking…
caught a break there
How about Uggla just stop
May 28th, 201110:00 pm
One pitch…one Uggla….ain’t gonna kill me no more–other guys can and will.
Frediieee just keeps hitting!
thanks Uggla, can’t even get past reviewing the out at 2nd before you make your out ….. sheesh
May 28th, 201110:01 pm
One pitch, one out. 0-for-4 and down to .179. Keep it up Uggla. You’re helping A LOT.
Go Captain Mudderland. Spread some of that optimism over here.
You know he’s 2nd on the team in RBIs, and leading the team in OBP, SLG, and OPS (obviously)?
YEAH FREDDIEEE with the steal!!
wait for the call FOX before announcing the result …..
yeah release the guy with the second highest OPS on the team starters,
some of y’all are either comics or idiotic haters….
Baker about to get run.
May 28th, 201110:02 pm
Gonzalez is 2 for 4 with a run tonight. He is batting .273. Yes, one would like more patience, but that is decent offense for someone who is giving his defense at SS.
Gonzo can’t get a hit with runners on if his life depended on it.
Chipper also leads the NL in doubles…
Home team break–now take advantage Bravos
May 28th, 201110:03 pm
Indian name: Freddie Fleetfoot
How nice would it be if Gonzalez would lace a basehit and actually produce in a high leverage situation?
suck you free swinging Alex ….
Alex was overdue for a strikeout.
May 28th, 201110:04 pm
May 28th, 2011
yeah release the guy with the second highest OPS on the team starters,
some of y’all are either comics or idiotic haters….”
You already know that.
Anyone else not getting any video highlights in the at-bat app?
Crap. More of the same in a clutch situation from Gonzalez. The man literally swings at everthing in the ballpark. Everyone on this blog could induce an out from Gonzalez.
You know i’m kidding about Chipper.
Release Uggly…not kidding.
AGon = Pepe Frias with batting practice power
why did Fredi slap agon on the butt ?!?! THat was not a good at bat ! Damn !
May 28th, 201110:05 pm
Did he really just swung at that? What a donkey.
Nice to hear Venters getting love from the Fox commentators.
May 28th, 201110:06 pm
Seeing CB Bucknor make calls that go the Braves’ way is surreal.
@Ifobrave….I want this one real BADDDDDDD!!!!!!!
Agon forgot to tip his cap so bhe gets slapped
May 28th, 201110:07 pm
“Chipper also leads the NL in doubles…”
well, tied for the lead with 2 others. Or if you factor in today’s number, he’s tied 2nd in the NL with 16 doubles and just 1 behind Jose Reyes.
This team is so comically bad in key situations where good fundamental would lead to some breaks.
May 28th, 201110:08 pm
Some part of me wants to see Venters as a starter…
HE GONE—-simply smoke coming from the venters.
May 28th, 201110:10 pm
4 hits for Gomes? You have got to be kidding me. Baseball is a maddening game.
dang JV has given up 3 hits since FOX mentioned that stat about him not giving up hits ….
or Andruw Jones with BP power.
May 28th, 201110:11 pm
.185 = Brave killer. 4-for-5.
“It’s hard to get an anvil in the air” – Sutton about Jonny’s ball!
Gomes average is higher than Uggla now.
May 28th, 201110:13 pm
Who does the Braves tailoring? Venters has a loose thread on the back of his jersey.
Great stop Mac
May 28th, 201110:14 pm
Mike Minor and Dan Uggla for Johnny Gomes
Venters doesn’t really have it tonight; ordinarily he would have finished of Hanigan.
May 28th, 201110:16 pm
top o the order due up in the btm of the 9th, get the speedy guys on and get them around the bases = braves win.
May 28th, 201110:17 pm
Venters gave up hits…bring in Linebrink…
JV doesn’t give up any hits. He’s a god.
May 28th, 201110:18 pm
Another cheap basehit by the Reds. They are good at that in this series.
Venters seemes to have problems with the Reds.
Meawhile, Chipper is 7 for his last 39 with exactly one run batted in in the last 10 games.
Time for one oh to step it up. Struggla gets closer and closer to lost cause territory. Somebody besides McCann has to start doing something. Prado is in a little bit of skid himself (9 for his last 39).
May 28th, 201110:19 pm
Venters and EOF really both deserve to be AS this year.
Worthy concern. I am with you. Like last year all the use that Venters receive will only have adverse effects in the second half, but his frequent use is largely influenced by the Brave ineptitude offensively, thus forcing Fredi to use his best relievers more frequently than anyone would like.
seems to no seemes. Sorry about the typo.
May 28th, 201110:20 pm
Smoke and movement—he gone.
Well, he leads all relief pitchers in appearances and innings. I’m real worried that Fredi has now decided that he’s good for 2 innings, 2 out of every 3 or 4 games.
Venters. Like a boss.
Give Venter a 2-day vacation to the resort of his choice. Get him out of town for a couple of days or Fredi will have thrw 35 pitches the next chance he has.
Extra innings coming up.
May 28th, 201110:21 pm
Smoke with movement–excellent JV
