My dish went out weather related. I go to yahoo and see J. Horst is pitching. Now my knowledge of farm systems is legendary but even I am having trouble with J. Horst. Any clues??
I forget the numbers, but Hudson hasn’t had a Hudsonesque game in almost a month I believe. And Hanson may have only given up two runs but he didn’t make it to the 5th for the second game in a row. His command was off and he had a high pitch count. And this is also Lowes second poor start in a row. I agree that the offense (and occasionally the D) has been the culprit this season, but the starters, other the JJ (and the lone Minor start), has struggled recently.
I can’t believe it. I took a little nap and it’s a tie game. What a bunch of BS. 3 up 3 down to a rookie and a lead off double. What have we done to deserve this team?
You guys calling us whiners….just shut up, why don’t ya…. phil
just shut up yourselves and you won’t be called whiners, which is exactly what you are
why the hell should we have to read all that overemotional crap without the right to bug you as much as you bug us?
Chris from the rock,
That’s not atypical to have trouble against a guy you haven’t seen before nor have a book on. The second time though the lineup would be more telling, if this guy pitches a few innings.
Jeff D, Maybe he isn’t miserable because he is steeling himself for what he believes to be the inevitable. If he is wrong, he will be happy. He is already prepared to lose the game and he now can only be pleasantly surprised.
Gameday just said that Edgar R. lines out pitcher to 3B Jones to 1B Freeman with no advance — I assume a ball off thepitcher’s glove deflected to Chipper?
Team just doesn’t have “it” right now. But, they have the talent to win. Heyward and Uggs will start hitting. Chipper will be better than he has been. Marteen will be better than he has been. It just needs to find it sooner rather than later.
Hanson 4 2/3, and Lowe 3 1/3 innings, Hudson and Beachy injuried….could this be the start of the pitching slump? I expected the hitting to come around by the time the pitching started to slump.
now its ball game… the rookie not only set the braves down easily 1-2-3 but gets the go ahead RBI.. now thats pathetic.. see ya they wont win this game.
