Case and point: Reds have hardly hit the ball at all, and have scored 3 runs, whereas we’ve taken some walks, hit a few balls hard, and have had two guys called out incorrectly at 2nd and have no runs. This kinda luck can’t last all season…

If I were FW, at this point regardless of whether its his fault or not (though I feel he does deserve some blame) I would fire LP and promote TP or bring up that Lee Elia (?) guy thats so highly thought of. This team needs a hard slap in the face. They are just not playing good baseball. There is no energy, fire, or passion. Fundamentals are now suffering and the pitching is starting to suffer.

@ Cabrafan: They are meaningless because the outcome of the game will not be affected by them. However, I will concede that those hits will boost the stats of the players who hit them and in that regard they are not meaningless.
