I’ve noticed that its hard to win when scoring one or two runs most every game
McDowell out to point out the pansy in the third row.
May 27th, 201110:14 pm
I’m starting to think that The Proctologist is Back!
Phillips stands really close to the plate. Rob Dibble would pitch one rigth to his ear to make him back up.
This team sucks. I’m sick of this. Can anyone..
Not strikeout, Freeman sucks
Hold runners, Hanson sucks
Pop up all the fing time, they suck
Due up 10,16,20…. I’ve lost faith
McFann :Ô: :Ô:
May 27th, 201110:16 pm
Jerry I can’t remember the last time Mac has thrown anyone out.
May 20th, 2011.
May 27th, 201110:17 pm
Well? Did a crap pitcher most other nights not dominate us again?
Easy E is in… On The Real, We need some blowout wins because some of Our Bullpen Arms (Easy-E, Vennie-Macc, mainly) are going to fall off in Mid August Literally….
Come On Easy-E!
Please somehow comeback and win this thing Braves
He has had better AB’s tonight and the only RBI so far, but that first pitch to Uggla in his second AB with 1 out, runners at 1st-3rd he had one to absolutely crush and watched it go bý. That had homerun written all over it.
Something like that shows how bad we’re struggling on offense.
May 27th, 201110:18 pm
Hell Yeah, Good Stab Gonzo…
And Hell Yeah Easy-E! We are till in this one but it sure as hell doesn’t feel like it!
I can still taste a Solo homer!
some folks just ain’t happy unless they ain’t happy….
May 27th, 201110:19 pm
Your 10:17 post is why I’m saying a late inning reliever should be as much a priority as another bat.
What is the used to have one of the better bullpen of baseball if we can get them a lead to protect?
Alex saved a run there.
The A Bomb
Too bad we have one of the best MLB pitching staffs in years and it’s going to go largely unnoticed because of this offensive tribute to the 1966 Dodgers.
Slow pitch softball doesn’t work.
May 27th, 201110:20 pm
Another Uggly mental mistake….bench the bum!
Church League Offense
So I wonder if McDowell will go back to his OWN dugout and question the manhood of the players on his own team instead of directing it at people in the stands.
May 27th, 201110:21 pm
If the late inning guys keep being used when the lead isn’t there, what good will they do when the team has a lead after they’re used too much?
Good play by Gonzalez and EOF is a beast.
May 27th, 201110:22 pm
Alright, the heartless of the order is back up.
I may have misread your post, so I apologize if I got it wrong.
now theres the Proctor that we all know and love
May 27th, 201110:23 pm
Chipper upping his OB%
Chipper saw his OBP and decided to walk 3 times
Come On B-Macc! Shyt!
so are lefties and righties from their rotation Chris26
Come on Braves DO SOMETHING and do it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
May 27th, 201110:24 pm
@BFChris26: I agreed with you on your assesment. My comments was not directed at the bullpen but a our inability to score runs that is causing our bullpen to be abused.
Lefties from the other team’s bullpen is Braves’ kryptonite
so are lefties and righties from their starting rotation Chris26. and lets not forget righties from their pen too….
Start us off Chipper!
Thanks for clarifying and I also agree with you on your point as well.
May 27th, 201110:25 pm
Did they score that an E-5?
May 27th, 201110:26 pm
@BFChris26….that will result in a malfunctioning bullpen, i.e., offense gets their collective heads together and start scoring like an MLB team and, as a result; the “Pen” then takes on the role of underachievers.
If the Braves get this kind of pitching from Linebrink, Sherrill, and Proctor consistently, they’ll be hard to contend with, even with their challenged offense.
Come on Mac!
A walk. Those are rare for the Braves.
May 27th, 201110:27 pm
I think Mather should pinch hit for Hinske regardless of what happens in this at bat from McCann.
Mac hates walking with men on base.
May 27th, 201110:28 pm
Nice, Brian. Now don’t swing at crap. A walk is fine
Mather? Lord no…
I have been a fan since 66 and I read this blog every day and don’t comment all that often. But, tonight I have to speak up. After 2 days off this week and coming back home to play a team that is obviously struggling we get a 3 error , listless, poor baserunning, poor decision making all around pathetic performance. These players are not engaged. Their minds are not in the game. Their body language and facial expressions are defeatist. Something is very, very wrong and I don’t know if its the manager, a clubhouse cancer, whatever, but, there is too much talent for this to be the end result. No aggressiveness, no heart, poor instincts, poor judgement, lackadaisical play, are not characteristics of a playoff team. As much as I don’t like Filly, they are getting a lot more out of there NO NAME playersa than we are getting from our STARS. The difference=heart, leadership, and someone in mgmt. to light a fire in their a** when they perform like this. Obviously, NO ONE in Atlanta is capable or cares enough to perform these duties. They may comeback and win tonight but the fact remains that something is rotten in that clubhouse. Their play is much too inconsistent for a 25 guys to collectively look so, so bad. Does anybody out there see what I see? SOMEBODY IN THAT UNIFORM OR UPSTAIRS PLEASE WAKE UP!!!!! IT IS ALMOST UNWATCHABLE. I’m not meaning to be negative, this is just sickening and pathetic.
McCann gets an extra pitch.
That could be the break that the Braves needed. No DP.
If Uggla ties it up…..do i dare say he is forgiven?
May 27th, 201110:29 pm
My lord please!!!!!
Mac calling Buck again. Must be his best friend.
Our Middle of the order Stinks!
Linebrink for Cy
and Mac F bombs his way back to the dugout
McFatty hasn’t done anything other than the one game against the Astros this year.
May 27th, 201110:30 pm
You took the words out my mouth there McCann.
JC from DR! (You gotta tip your cap to ____)
Best middle of the order EVER!!
Bah! this damn thing is a pain in the derrière.
Why not pinch hit Mather there? *shakes head*
IT’s Uggly time!
May 27th, 201110:31 pm
Uggly gets a hit…FF won’t…
May 27th, 201110:32 pm
Honestly, the “heart” of our order is really putrid.
A meaningless hit by Uggla.
Damn Chip1960 just went PL on us with the Essay, ROFL
The team needs to be called out like that especially playing like this against a beat up reds team who just got Clowned in Philly
Freddy! Stop Swinging at that crap!
And other opposing managers as well. Why take lefty out when pitching to Uggla? Specifically because he has more trouble with lefties than righties. But hey, I’m no manager.
I like to get 3 right here with Freddy.
getting 1 run closer before going to the bottom of the 9th would be nice … so would having a good hitting team
@Chip1960: You get a big amen from me on your assessment.
I get so tierd of listening to Brian Jordan slobber over that freaking loser little chic Heyward. Heyward sucks, should have drafted Stanton.
Heyward sucks but so does this team
May 27th, 201110:33 pm
Uggla, hit it just a little bit harder and a little bit higher this time and you tie this game.
Cox could outmanage The Lizard Baker all the time….
What team does he even play for, and what does he have to do with this game?
May 27th, 201110:34 pm
Ugs down again
Another minor league ANEMIC offensive performance by the scrub offense that is the Atlanta Braves. This team is beyond pathetic they looked Luke they flat out didn’t care at all tonight. It’s a shame bc fans pay hard earned money to watch these bums.
Break out the whooping stick right now Uggs!
THEY DON’T CARE. WHY SHOULD I?
Ray K Mac hates walking with men on base.
Then how come he did it in the first inning and has done it 187 times in his career?
the more Hinske plays the more likely he is to drop off in production just like the middle of last season. There is a reason that he hasn’t played a full season anywhere in a coon’s age
Uggla does something!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uggs with a hit!
May 27th, 201110:35 pm
A hit for Uggla. Time for FF to get an RBI for a change.
Time for Freeman to come through with a big hit.
Omg . Ugs is back haha. World Series!!!
“he’s lucky …” well the Braves aren’t so that’s why it’s just a single
Come On Fab-5-Freddie!
Seriously!…He only hits against teams like the Pirates, I know he’s a rookie but we need help!
well the crazies are out in force tonight I see….
hard enough to put up with losing without all the stupid rolling around on the floor and kicking of heels so popular here among the childish brats
y’all enjoy your miserable existences crybabies
Great at bat!!!
May 27th, 201110:36 pm
Bases loaded kind of scary right now.
why not go inside on Freddie, he showed earlier in then AB he has to fight that one off just to stay alive.
Chip1960- You aren’t alone. I completely agree with you. Freddy just doesn’t seem to be able to get them to come to play everyday. They give away way to many at bats and don’t seem to have any base running skills at all.
Come on Alex.
juuust need a hit ….
May 27th, 201110:37 pm
Free pitch for Freeman. He swung at that
May 27th, 201110:38 pm
Freeman is so overmatched !!!! Freeman is just a glove guy, defensive replacement. This whole team starts ab’s 0-2
Alex Gonzalez is 0-for-17 with runners in scoring position and two outs
All you need here is a double Freddy. Uggs has good speed.
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
