Tim Hudson is progressing well in his recovery from back stiffness and is on track to make his next scheduled start on Monday against the Padres, Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said.
Hudson returned to Atlanta over the weekend to have his back evaluated after giving up eight runs in only 3 2/3 innings on Friday night.
Gonzalez said Hudson played catch on Tuesday and came away encouraged that he’d be ready to go Monday as planned. Hudson was originally scheduled to pitch Wednesday in Pittsburgh but the Braves will call up Mike Minor to replace him, giving Hudson a few more days to rest.

This fan interference rule has a lot of holes. How on earth did they rule that the way they did?

don’t be silly ,,,you have two “prospects” in AAA ok ( i think Teheran have a possible future in 5th spot in rotation one day in 2 years maybe,,Minor i dont know look like Ankiel in 2000 NLDS not have idea about strike zone,,, SO so much but give a lot of BB too,,,remember Oliver Perez????)
well…,with pitchers prospects in minors the braves dont win a games take off this idea of your head
braves are the only team in MLB with the luck to have a deep pitching staff for make a one good trade ok?
or you want to put Teheran or Minor in lead off spot of Line up ????
only good teams make a good trades ,,,, remember giants last year???? trade for C.Ross (MVP NLCS) trade for Guillen …sign Burrell in middle of the season .,,.trade for R.Ramirez , J.Lopez and reforce the bullpen maybe not all-star players but …do it the little things and knock a clutch hits and won the World series ….
Not with offensive team….only with clutch hitters and very deep rotation with pretty well bullpen
sounds like a 2011 braves????? maybe if trade for a lead off hitter
