If I wasn’t so filled with loathing about the Braves I would be losing my mind right about now.
I’m sure they have it in them to blow a handful more games before this homestand is over but what an incredible at-bat by Martin.
That was absolutely incredible.
Okay, I just said that but, what the hell, it was. Amazing just on it’s own, even if there was nobody on base.
Don’t count them out yet. They can still blow it.

Was about to post in frustration between watching the Braves and Hawks, but thought I’d see what the buzz was on the Braves blog first, and lo and behold, we have a tie game. Boo-yah, Marteeeeeeeeen! Now if the Hawks can just turn it around all will be well. Oh, and let’s win this thing Braves. I’m not watching. Should be simple. As soon as I tune out, the Braves tune in. This is where the Braves fall into the “trying to hit a home run mode.”
It’s their inability to manufacture runs that leads to all these late losses.
It’s also their inability to actually hit game winning home runs that leads to a lot of these late losses.
