Good lord! Ump just called two very low strikes on Heyward. I know Huddy wasn’t getting that call earlier.
neither called strike was a strike, were they?
Definitely not another feeble offensive performance
I was at the game on Saturday, however my seats on Saturday were behind the Braves dugout. I wasnt really paying attention to where Jair Jurrjens was warming up (I got to the park right after batting practice ended for the Giants). By the time I got my food and got settled, the game was getting ready to start.
I didnt hear anything about the incident from anyone at the park on Saturday or Sunday.

The way you said it, implied that it was “my source”. _ PL
I figured your “coming out of the woodwork” interpretation of “some emails” put you in her camp.
Once again, the Braves offense has completely shut down.
April 29th, 20119:01 pm
D Lowe threw that pitch when he was drunk.
McFann O O
April 29th, 20119:02 pm
Heath really 31, but shhh, that’s a secret with my Braves buddies.
[whispers] Don’t worry, it won’t get outta this camp!
April 29th, 20119:03 pm
PS—BMac’s made some good stops tonight.
I was at a Braves vs Rangers game in Arlington a couple years ago,We sat next to the visitors bullpen(the texas fans were brutal to the braves players). Will Ohmann was being heckled by this drunk
This guy was a tool…..after a heated exchange Eddy Perez had to call security to this a__ hole.
Regardless of what is said to these guys or how brutal fans treat visiting players there is only one way this type of situation should be handled…….Eddy handled the situation with class and dignity.
Come On Huddy…Oy!
Have there been any camera shots of Lowe?? What has Joe and Tom said about both situations? I just turned the game on.
April 29th, 20119:04 pm
big inning here…
…been gone all week for work too. Can’t wait until my fiancee gets off work in a few minutes!
April 29th, 20119:05 pm
Huddy is all over the place today….not sharp at all
Ump not helping either
“Martin Prado is 3-for-19 since the San Francisco series”
And we still won 5 of 6, but agreed Martini hasn’t really gotten it going yet!
Gawd The Wave is Sooo Wack! So 80’s
April 29th, 20119:06 pm
Speaking of fiancee… I chose our honeymoon today: 16-day trip in Europe. Land and sea vacation in Italy, Greece, Crete, and Turkey.
April 29th, 20119:07 pm
@Nick….enter your comments here.
hey!! I luv the wave.
Speaking of a good crowd at Turner tonight. I bought my tickets to their Toronto series in June. Got some good seats from stub hub. I know I could get cheaper seats, but when I only get to go once a year to Atlanta I wanna make sure I have a good ones.
April 29th, 20119:08 pm
Huddy is done for the day….can’t locate anything and the cards are hitting everything hard…hopefully not hurt
April 29th, 20119:09 pm
Braves need a pitching coach
April 29th, 20119:10 pm
Hell Yeah! We Needed That!
Great DP!! Very well played
JC from DR!
Yeah Huddy, why bother throwing strikes? Strikes are overrated
Huddy got a nice dp there
April 29th, 20119:11 pm
I must say, heckling is a lost art today. There was a guy who had season tickets to the Washington Bullets years ago. If I remember correctly, his seat was right behind the visiting bench. Charles Barkley said that he was the best heckler he’d every encountered in his career. Dude was an older white guy who could get under a player’s skin big time without being stupid like a lot of today’s fans.
Today’s fan is pretty lazy (meaning they automatically resort to cheap, profane cracks). I can see “going there” if someone actually did something to tick you off. However to just go there without being provoked……is pretty lazy.
Meanwhile, Ryan Mallett just got drafted by the New England Patriots with the 74th pick in the 3rd round. With a gang of draft picks New England can afford take a flyer on Mallett and develop him….in an ideal situation where he can learn without pressure to play right away….because Tom Brady aint going anywhere right now, lol!
April 29th, 20119:12 pm
Happy Birthday, Heath! Your honeymoon sounds pretty darn awesome!
April 29th, 20119:13 pm
What y’all think will huddy come back out ?
Hope not, Bravofan. He seems fatigued or something.
The national Fox network blows

.500 team is .500.
April 29th, 20119:16 pm
April 29th, Uggla about to break out
April 29th, 20119:17 pm
Bravofan…….read my 8:15pm post if you want to know what Joe Simpson and Tom Glavine had to “say” about what’s happened the past 2 days. The way they sugar coated it made O’Brien and Rogers look like Berstein and Woodward.
Come on Fab 5 Freddie
You are Due!
Lets do this Freddie…..
April 29th, 20119:18 pm
Brava: I hope he doesn’t come back out you can tell something isn’t right tonight.
Not to mention not having your pitching coach on the bench and your fellow ace having a rough past 24 hours. I know he is a pro but you can’t tell me that doesn’t have some affect on a guy. When do the Falcons have a draft pick again??
Gonzo will do nothing here, Watch! The dude is not clutch at all, but I love his D
April 29th, 20119:19 pm
You Gotta Be Kidding Me…Blah!
April 29th, 20119:20 pm
April 29th, 2011
Get this ,I live on Oklahoma(cards home tv territory)So Sat on Fox we get to watch……get this sh_t Rays vs Angels.
I was about to call that DP.
Tomahawkin……damn dude, you called it right there with Gonzalez.
The show is on!
Cards can play D as well….only 90 pitches for Carp….typical braves…1 inning we score…rest is awful
I’m almost to the point that I’d rather have Nate-Dawg Hit 7th…
April 29th, 20119:22 pm
Come On Easy-E
Lets Do This!
I figured comeon O!!
@Bravesfaninok….like I said, aptly named…Faux Sports
April 29th, 20119:23 pm
Tomahawkin, I still don’t get the Fab 5 for Freddie.
That inning stunk.
Any word on Moylans rehab when is he supposed to pitch at Gwinnett?
Hugo Z Hackenbush
Let’s see if Fredi yanks Eric for Linebrink after two outs…
April 29th, 20119:24 pm
Line on Hudson: 6 IP, 6 hits, two earned runs, two walks, 3 Ks. 99 pitches, 53 strikes
April 29th, 20119:25 pm
Bravofan Moylan hasn’t picked up a ball yet so wouldn’t count on him in Gwinnett real soon. I wrote a note about it and posted it on the blog if you’ll have a look.
UFO over TED
Thanks for swinging…

April 29th, 20119:28 pm
EOF makes Puntobean soup–sit down
CR: wow thanks I didn’t know that for some reason I had stuck in my mind he was making a rehab next week but I’m wrong lol
I’m curious, have any of you who have been to a game at Turner Field every seen some serious heckling by Braves fans that was directed at the opposing team (other than Barry Bonds…he doesnt count, lol, because he was heckled everywhere he went)?
Reason I asked, as I’m watching this game now on t.v…..our fans seem like a lifeless bunch. I bet if someone actually yelled the F-word really loud, the mics would easily pick it up.
April 29th, 20119:29 pm
@BamaDude…you missed it–the big discussion in the booth re: PR mess the past few days.
April 29th, 20119:30 pm
“Trey, google fab five Freddie. Then, realize that Freddie is number five. Then, take a nap.”

Go Bravos !!!! …
Anyway T’, I was just curious. Thanks.
Come On Martini
April 29th, 20119:34 pm
That DP Gonzo Hit really hurts now…I’m gonna start calling for Nate-Dawg to hit 7th while he is hot…Gonzo at the plate is well, ugghh U know?
Sports Illustrated used to have a little section called “The Apocalypse is Upon Us” when making note of something that would only happen if the “world was coming to an end”.
Nate McLouth hitting that go ahead homer (his first of the year) perhaps would qualify as that, lol!
Regardless, way to go McLouth. Would be very happy for you to rebound back to the player that Frank Wren traded for in mid 2008…proving most of us (including me) wrong about you.
April 29th, 20119:35 pm
“Matty, you obviously seem to have some sort of problem with me. If so, well f**k you.”
CaptainMudderland …hey guy ! …”sorry” i missed it …hehe …hey it has been or is Bad !! …
Heyward with the cerebral game
Beautiful hit by Heyward!!!!
Way to keep your body between the ball and the fielder…
April 29th, 20119:36 pm

Oh, I hope Mac makes ‘em pay for walking Chipper!
Tomahawkin, I’m tired of some Bull s*** by some dude who has a name so similar to that female off of True Grit.
Apparently they haven’t seen McCann’s RISP numbers.
April 29th, 20119:37 pm
Been a while since I’ve seen Chipper intentionally walked.
April 29th, 20119:38 pm
Brava, especially to McCann. Hopefully McCann Cann break the game open.
C’mon mutha just wrack the crud out of it in the name of freedom and faith and McFann
