I was at the game on Saturday, however my seats on Saturday were behind the Braves dugout. I wasnt really paying attention to where Jair Jurrjens was warming up (I got to the park right after batting practice ended for the Giants). By the time I got my food and got settled, the game was getting ready to start.
I didnt hear anything about the incident from anyone at the park on Saturday or Sunday.

I was at a Braves vs Rangers game in Arlington a couple years ago,We sat next to the visitors bullpen(the texas fans were brutal to the braves players).Will Ohmann was being heckled by this drunk
This guy was a tool…..after a heated exchange Eddy Perez had to call security to this a__ hole.
Regardless of what is said to these guys or how brutal fans treat visiting players there is only one way this type of situation should be handled…….Eddy handled the situation with class and dignity.

Speaking of a good crowd at Turner tonight. I bought my tickets to their Toronto series in June. Got some good seats from stub hub. I know I could get cheaper seats, but when I only get to go once a year to Atlanta I wanna make sure I have a good ones.

I must say, heckling is a lost art today. There was a guy who had season tickets to the Washington Bullets years ago. If I remember correctly, his seat was right behind the visiting bench. Charles Barkley said that he was the best heckler he’d every encountered in his career. Dude was an older white guy who could get under a player’s skin big time without being stupid like a lot of today’s fans.
Today’s fan is pretty lazy (meaning they automatically resort to cheap, profane cracks). I can see “going there” if someone actually did something to tick you off. However to just go there without being provoked……is pretty lazy.
Meanwhile, Ryan Mallett just got drafted by the New England Patriots with the 74th pick in the 3rd round. With a gang of draft picks New England can afford take a flyer on Mallett and develop him….in an ideal situation where he can learn without pressure to play right away….because Tom Brady aint going anywhere right now, lol!

I’m curious, have any of you who have been to a game at Turner Field every seen some serious heckling by Braves fans that was directed at the opposing team (other than Barry Bonds…he doesnt count, lol, because he was heckled everywhere he went)?
Reason I asked, as I’m watching this game now on t.v…..our fans seem like a lifeless bunch. I bet if someone actually yelled the F-word really loud, the mics would easily pick it up.
