Uggla = not the answer. Nice to have on the team but we still need a real bat. Good God! What does it take to make that happen on this team?
FYI – Mark Bradley is a tool. Shut up already dude.

Uggla will rock. Don’t worry about him. Worry about the others….

Dave, are those album covers on your ceiling?

Watching the Red Sox now..they need some starting pitching badly. Never thought I’d say it, but how about lets trade some of that Braves pitching depth for JD Drew?
April 11th, 20119:42 pm
the reason they are off to a slow start is because they are playing good teams with good pitching. now they get volstad, jj and nolasco. more good pitching. no win streak coming yet.
they have a tough opening schedule and just need to stay close until it becomes more favorable.

UGA, where would you play JD Drew?
DOB, when will modern technology allow us to Video blog??!??

Is there one position player on this Braves team that would be a starter on the Phillies, Yankees, Giants, or any other contending club? If the Braves management is serious about fieldinga winning team they need to ask themselves this question. In all honesty, maybe Uggla, Prado, and McCann.

Hopefully never. Too many people already are too lazy to read and write.

If they wasted the time asking themselves that question, they’d probably answer something like this:
“Let’s see, we have a five-time All-Star catcher, a second baseman who won a Silver Slugger award last season and has averaged 31 homers a year, a left fielder who was an All-Star 2B last season and led the NL batting race before he got hurt, a right fielder who had a near-.400 OBP and was Baseball America’s major league Rookie of the Year in 2010 … wait, why did we ask ourselves this question? It’s ridiculous.”

I hope DOB doesn’t go missing……..There was a pyscho looking guy with a guitar sneaking up from behind him during the telecast.
I think Hanson is hurt and the Braves are trying to limp his way through until JJ comes off the DL. How long can the braves allow Mclouth (.229) and Freeman (.188) to be in the lineup. You can have one hole in a line up but two ?? IMO, Mclouth needs to go or sit on the bench and be one expensive pinch runner. Between Mclouth and Kenswan that is 14 million in payroll money that is producing nothing for the Braves. Wren does not look very smart with those two. We could have had a major outfielder with a bat for 14 Million. Fortunately, my twenty twenty hindsight vision is working perfectly today. Right now, the Braves have to start winning series and they are not doing that. Losing to Milwaukee hurt.

NO MORE BOBBY,
Uggla’s worst months are March and April.
He starts heating up in May. Let’s wait until Memorial Day before jumping off any bridges, OK?
April 12th, 20115:22 pm
Carol and No More Bobby should be Yankee fans. They’d be much happier.
