Venters and Kimbrel were literally unhittable, but how about Moylan?? If he can throw that changeup to lefties like he did to Nix today, watch out. I’ve never seen him throw Dave 3 times in one at-bat, much less as effective as he did. The first one was away, but the next two (with a darting sinker sammiched in between) were perfect.

Agreed Mike. Both EO’F and Moylan were every bit as good. Their outs were arguably higher leverage spots. And ol’ Dave has certainly come along. I’m calling the sinker ‘David’ from now on. David and Dave. You know. It entertains me.
Although, a small quibble: I thought the strike-three change was poorly located. I thought it turned over belt-high, down the middle. But, the change of speed and deception were so good, Nix had no chance.
