So, what’s the deal on the Saturday game as far as TV goes? Is it working the same as last year when FOX has a national game on and Directv nor anyone else can compete with them in the 1 pm to 6 pm range?

kl – this is my favorite fly in so far. Relaxed camping weekend and all the food you can eat. We do SERFI in evergreen al but that one is pretty close so we don’t stay. Just fly down watch the airshow and fly back.

uga – what I really want to watch is the intro the do for him. I mean the guy has nasty stuff but doesn’t seem very intimidating.
Also I liked his comment “yeah I as nervous I’m always nervous” Its the same thing Wagner said. I’m always nervous I’m going to screw up and blow the game.

TV on SAT anyone?
Tiger – I’ve not heard of that one but it looks like a great day trip. I went to Lakeland with my friend from WPB in his airplane (1/4 share). It was awesome, but the thing that impressed me the most was an old P51 Mustang was flying about 300 feet above the runway doing 300 or so mph and a F-16 overtook him at about 700 mph. Said everything that needed saying about how much air warefare has advanced in the last 60 years.

Lowe looked good… lots of movement and stayed down in the zone, except for the pitch Ankiel couldn’t lift out, thankfully. Go team!

Damn, i got a new i TB external hard drive and my ‘puter won’t pick it up.
Guess I’ll hafta take the case open and make sure the internal connects are ok.
Computer equipment is becoming commodity items. Burner wear out about twice a year if you use them hard and stuff is always arriving that won’y work.

keylargo – the Sat. game is not on the cable Extra Innings schedule, so I think it’s one of those Fox exclusives. If your Fox channel gives it to you, you get it; if they don’t, you have to listen to the Braves radio feed. It stinks that they’re doing that with the Braves’ home opener, IMO.

We actually have CAF based on our field and they do an airshow there every year (great georgia airshow). They did something similar with a corsair and f-18 couple of years ago but same general point.

Tiger when we left Lakeland, there were so many private planes leaving they lined up two planes, one on each side of the main runway and one each on the parallel taxi ways. FOUR ABREAST. There was a man with a flag launching all four at once and as soon as the first group was about 400 yards down the runway, he’d launch four more. I guess it was formation flying 101.

I can’t say that I was crazy about the Heyward hitting 6th idea, but did anyone notice how tough this lineup was to pitch to late in the game?? That R-L split all the way down makes it soooo tough on opposing managers. We faced three different pitchers in the 7th inning. We’re going to either burn through a lot of bullpens or have a lot of favorable matchups late in games this year…
