Dave, you are right…Beachy is aggressive, confident, has guts, and poise. He has belonged from the day he stepped foot in the clubhouse. He is the type of athlete who is easy to root for! Congrats to Beachy!

People who have nothing to add to the conversation other than “first” should find a more productive use for their time.

Mather makes it just because he’s righty..Thats BS if you can hit what difference does it make.
Young had two hits tonight.
Wren also said he was looking for righty in trade..?
Oh well, Go Braves.

People who have to claim first live in their mother’s basement apartment or still are in high school. Feel sorry for them. They don’t have a life. Their life is to sniff O’Brien’s jock. They aren’t even athlete jock sniffers. They will stop soon when they can open their lemonade stands in the late spring and summer.

I just checked the Braves website and # 13, Billy Wagner, is still on the 40 man roster.
There must be a story here. Why would a guy who is “retired” be on the 40 man roster a few days away from opening day?

I honestly think the Braves have a good shot at winning the division this year. Phillies lineup is getting old and injuries are beginning to creep up on them. Just hope McClouth can get back to his old way of hitting. Hanson is being talked up by ESPN to having a great year. I’m super excited about the young pitchers coming up.

I like Beachy’s toughness, also. He looks and pitches like a wiry street-scrapper.
I can’t remember how high he can get the radear gun up to . . . . 93–94 MPH?

Is Minor pitching in a B game back at Disney today? How many innings is Lowe likely to pitch today?

Has Parrish helped Hicks make his swing adjustments? Has Hicks or anyone else spoken of how specifically Parrish might have helped them?
