They do that a lot around there. Got any friends that have access to a speed calibration machine? They’re in some repair facilities. Have your speedometer calibrated for accuracy. The court will give you the differential in your favor. I have a good friend who used to own a machine. Bailed my azz out a couple of times, but he sold his shop and retired. Was in SUFFOLK.

HEYWARD looked normal, his usual imposing self. Was out but can’t remember if a grounder or fly-out.
I’m worried about JJ. Have been since a year ago. They weren’t putting up his speed on the t.v. screen, but his location was good except for a couple sliders up over the middle of the plate. Work will smooth that out I’m sure. But topping out at 90 ain’t good in my book. Takes the nasty edge off those benders of his. And that’s where he was rocked today. Just me evidently. I’m a worrier anyway. Probably nothing to be alarmed about.

Getting the ticket overturned on a technicality pretty much depends on the court. You should contact a lawyer who pleads in that jurisdiction. The time error would obviate the violation, but you’ll probably spend three times as much and have the aggrevation. Of course, you wouldn’t have the conviction on your record. In VIRGINIA, they note the citation, and that it was dismissed or reduced on your MVR [motor vehicle record]. ALL states now are computer-linked and share this info I believe..
