I thought I had Bieber Fever once. Turned out it was the flu. Apparently Bieber Fever is more of a fever/diarrhea thing while the flu is more of a fever/vomiting thing.
I think Keylargo needs to start the season on the Gwinette blog. Maybe get a September Call up, or maybe not
With all the cuts, I feel fortunate to be held in high enough esteem, that the management is giving me a chance to go down to “Gwinette” to work on my game. I report as soon as I find out where the hell “Gwinette” is.
Murph, I’m with you about Luis. I’ve been scouring the ajc and braves websites every day for updates on him. I couldn’t stop thinking about him. But from the way it sounds, he’s so lucky to be alive and will be able to be up and around and manage a club like he wanted to I guess that’s a blessing.
It’s going to be awefully hard to gauge a veteran reliever during ST that’s been assured a spot on the roster. I think Sherrill, Linebrink and Proctor(if we decide to keep him) will play dividends during the season.
Do we even need the veteran relievers we acquired with all of the young guys we have in the system? Were they just trying to replace the experience they lost with Wagner?
Kevin in Chatty, thanks for the question. Unfortunately I am no longer able to answer questions directly on the blog. If you read my terms of service you would know that all questions must be directed to my email address which is nolie@compuserve.com.

Yep. Sox didn’t learn anything from last year when they couldn’t defend the bunt all year long and they just made David Ross look like Maury Wills. Hey, who doesn’t love Ross but that’s a play that has to be made.

Bieber Fever. You can’t stop it.
You can’t even hope to contain it.
Try hitting it with a shovel and burying it in the backyard. It usually works for me…
