Excellent news about Chipper’s knee and playing today. I will get real excited when he plays the field two days in a row. Cannot wait til the first game is on tv. Hope he plays Thursday. Be interesting in seeing how Brandon Hicks plays.

Me too. I’m not expecting Lowe to repeat his Sept numbers but I think if he uses his slider more like he did last Sept then this rotation is comparable (NOT as good, but comparable) to the Phils. National media forgets how good JJ was two years ago.

No, I sure don’t. They are like any other sports talk guys…they are homers.
I used to listen only for tomahawk talk..but since they stopped doing that, I haven’t tuned in. I live in the midwest, so if I want homer talk, I might as well listen to the homers in my area.

We had Yunel last year and were NOT one of the best young teams in the majors. It wasn’t until Yunel and his automatic outs at the plate were gone that we turned into the better teams in the NL.

Besides. Freeman is younger than Yunel was. So now were one of the better “young” teams in the league and even with Gonzo at short, the average age is younger than it was last year.

Haha, i am not starting an argument, but still am not sold on Alex Gonzalez. He may be a veteran but is way too inconsistent. Last year when we need our veterans to perform most in the post season, alex gonzalez failed miserably
