Braves’ single-game tickets go on sale

Individual Braves game tickets, starting as low as $8, went on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.

Tickets are available Braves.com/tickets,  the Braves’ ticket office at Turner Field, the Braves Clubhouse Store at the CNN Center, all Publix Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.

The Braves will take on the Philadelphia Phillies in the home opener on Friday, April 8.

There are three significant bobblehead giveaways, with the first 20,000 fans for these games receiving a bobblehead: June 15 vs. the Mets (Jason Heyward), July 28 vs. the Pirates (Chipper Jones) and Aug. 18 vs. the Giants (Dan Uggla).

Also, there are 21 value dates this season with savings of up to 30 percent on Monday through Thursday games between April 12 and May 17, and Aug. 30 through Sept. 28. Tickets must be bought before the date of the game to get the discount.

Thanks for the info DOB. I tried to get some tickets the other day but they weren’t available yet. my 8 year old daughter reminded me as we passed Turner field that we failed to attend a game last year. I was amazed to realize she was right. First time in 20 years I didn’t go see the Braves……….

Let’s see what they got left for the home opener……..

I am glad we will not have any Georgia Tech fans in attendance at The Ted………

They obviously don’t know the first thing about “purchasing tickets”.

Is this a blog or a public service announcement?

Scalping or street tickets work. I really don’t understand the clampdown. When the Braves were suck for so many years, that is the only way I bought tickets.

Sorry, no way I’m going anywhere near Turner Field until they bring back the MARTA shuttle. It’s sick that the Braves and MARTA were not able to work anything out to keep the shuttle going. I work downtown and like going to games after work and then catching the MARTA shuttle afterwards. Am I supposed to walk back a mile to Five Points at 10pm at night after the game? Do the Braves want everyone to pay 10 to 20 bucks to park at the stadium rather then taking MARTA there? Traffic will be much worse going to games this year considering people have no other way to get to the games. It’s an absolute disgrace that the MARTA shuttle is not an option and I predict that their attendance will plummet.

@dave – I agree. It is ridiculous that a city the size of Atlanta doesn’t have a public transportation option to their baseball field.

Who cares? The Braves are not that good. As soon as spring training ended the paper went nuts reporting on what came out of training camp. Doesn’t matter. They will NOT make the playoffs.

Dave, don’t be such a modern-day wimp!
I love walking from downtown to the stadium.
It gets hot sometimes. But it’s a good way to relax while EXERCISING!
Dave, are you fat? I don’t mean to pry or bully. But just think of the GOOD it would do you.
We Americans want everything so EASY! Air-conditioned car or bus to here, there, to everywhere.
Dave, if you truly love baseball, walk, da m m i t!

I’m not saying do it EVERY day for EVERY Game! But just get OFF the butt and get you some exercise man. ESPECIALLY if you need it!

Got mine last week! I’ll be visiting Atlanta for April 11-15 and heading back home (Edmonton, Canada) on the 16th, so I’ll get to take in 4 games. :D

Too bad I won’t get a bobblehead lol.
