very unlikely on Murph, this is his last year I think and he ain’t gonna make it now.
small possibility that some future veterans committee might vote him in.
I did think he should have gotten more support than he did. Never got very high at all.

At 7:53, Ward typed the following:

“JHey’s better; N8 essays are boring so I don’t read them, and to long , and meaningless…”

Below is a “compilation” of all of his posts since then (26 of them)…..

“Nolie: I like your comment…..smile….Was there another essay. Who cares?????? N8 I’m so sad….. Tell some one who cares….smile…..How about the Oscars! Staring in about a half an hour…….smile…..In about 27 minutes, and counting Ocsar night….Christian Bale will win Best Supporting actor……My prediction……smile….Guy’s we had three solid games…. No wins yet,but it’s only Spring Training…smile…..All the games have been close, and exciting……smile….Your right, I was thinking some thing else! Good correction….smile…..The Braves have done good so far. I give a solid performance for the first two games…Brava: I’m going to Pretened N8 is the wind, and can’t hear him…….smile…..I would like “The Fighter” to win best pitcure, but it’s up against some tough competition…..Another Reality Check clown sigh…………..Oscars: Are off to a good start tonight…..smile……Chipper : I’m pulling for you! Keep hitting buddy…….smile…..Look Reality Check is talking! Hmmmmmmm………Next topic…..smile….AMEN……..I better behave my-self………Smile……I better behave my-self………Smile……Trey: How’s it going? Trey: Watching the Oscars,so far not bad…..I’m suprised Eddie Murry isn’t elected. He was a great hitter…….How about Jack Cark too….Correction ,Jack Clark….You are correct……..If Eddie made I’m sure Chipper will. I should watch more of the HOF, and keep updated it’s been a while since I’ve seen one…..smile I remember Jack Clark. He could hit some bombs. I remember one game in Boston he hit a long one , and it hit their sign in left field. He was one solid player…..Good power….nolie: Very, Funny smile……..It’s all cool…..Play- Offs remember some of the bombs he hit……It’s possible some day. smile…..”

In 26 posts, Ward manages to make to points (SEVERE case of not having a better word to describe them) that might be considered solid baseball discussion topics.

1) About how he’s “surprised” that Eddie Murray is not in the HOF. Never mind that Murray was elected to the HOF in 2003. Nice try though, huh?

2) That Jack Clark “hit bombs” and Ward thinks it’s someday “possible” for Jack Clark to be in the HOF. Never mind that in 1998 Jack Clark only got 7 votes (1.5% – just a taaaaad short of the needed votes that year), and stands about as much chance of getting in as Francisco Cabrera does.

But yeah. I agree. Ward gets right to the point alright.

Way to go Ward.

I am being nice nolie. My posts have a comedic sense to them and are all in good fun. If I was being mean, everybody would know it. I’ve been mean before.

Perhaps I should add the word “smile” to my post about 20+ times, as to let everybody know it’s all in fun.

There’s plenty of room Ward. Should have been here when the blog was all one page.

Snyder,Mantle,Mays some pretty decent CFers all at about the same time. If they had all been on the same team it would have kinda rivaled having McNate,Melky and Diaz all at the same time, of course no one team could ever be that fortunate.

I liked what Chipper had to say about his fans.

“If they think I’m doing this for the money, they obviously haven’t seen my bank account,” he said. “I’ve never played this game for money. Nor will I. My mind doesn’t work that way. I play this game because I love my teammates and they wanted me to come back.

“I still feel like I have something to offer, and the cynical fan can really kiss my ass. I really don’t care. There’s a bunch of true fans and the people who actually want to take the time to get to know me know who I am. The guy who sits in his mom’s basement and types on his mom’s computer, I couldn’t really care less about.”

tiger297–No kids. I would love living in the city. My fear is that I will end up living in Jersey, which is not at all interesting. Probably a step up from Norman. But not fun. The problem is that Manhattan is so expensive, but Brooklyn will just be too long of a commute to New Brunswick.

Most of my work is done on the same computer I blog from. So it seems like I’m always here. At least a chunk of my work is out of the office (initially), so I see daylight once in a while.

But more often than not, I’m at this computer one way or another for 12 hours out of every day. It used to be different before I moved my office to my home. At least I had two different desks and computeres to sit in front of. If I didn’t hate laptops so much, that might be an easy solution, but can’t stand them.
