Boof Bonser what a name.”
Sounds like a food dish.
February 27th, 20112:23 pm
Are we in a rain delay or what? Lord I hate gameday.
February 27th, 20112:24 pm
Prado on first. Schafer makes an out. Chipper flies out to Pagan for out two.
Uggla gonna crush this one, watch it!
February 27th, 20112:25 pm
Was Boof Bonser the Mets big off season acquisition?
February 27th, 20112:26 pm
Or not >_>
Boof Bonser sounds like a dog’s name to me.
February 27th, 20112:27 pm
Braves are taking long ABs. So, there are long delays between things happening. Good sign for the Bravos.
Uggla hits a nubber in front of the plate. He thinks it is foul, but is thrown out to end the inning.
Prado reached on a single to start the inning but is stranded. Looks like Marteeeeeeen is picking up where he left off last year.
February 27th, 20112:28 pm
Cleveland into left for Prado.
Young at 2B for Uggla.
Beachy comes back for his second inning and gives up a hit.
February 27th, 20112:29 pm
Matt Young @ 2B. Could be a long shot candidate for a roster spot.
Ho Sit Down!
BB is dealin!
That should have been Clevelan rather than Cleveland, I think.
February 27th, 20112:30 pm
BB strikes out the first out of the sixth.
February 27th, 20112:31 pm
A KO for his 1st out in this inning!
Angel Pagan is a Pest…!
February 27th, 20112:32 pm
Willie Harris single makes it 1st and 2nd with 1 out.
Harris won’t let Braves forget him.
February 27th, 20112:33 pm
Nice play Bowman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nubber to third, but Bowman gets his man. 2nd and 3rd with two outs. Murphy to the plate.
February 27th, 20112:34 pm
Murphy hits two-run double off Beachy to cut Braves’ lead in half, 4-2
Damn BB Left one up…
February 27th, 20112:35 pm
If this gameday thing is correct, Beachy had thrown 12 pitches and all have been strikes.
Matt Young’s at 2B in place of Uggla
Beachy gives up a double to Murphy. Two runs score.
And now it’s 4-2
February 27th, 20112:36 pm
Don Sutton’s so goofy.
February 27th, 20112:37 pm
That was close.
Yeah Soph, love his stuff!
Nearly a home run from Ike Davis, but it floats foul.
uh oh, beachy got hit this inning
February 27th, 20112:38 pm
To Ike Davis
Beach getting lit up now eh?
Whew! Glad that’s over.
Way to finish up Brandon!
February 27th, 20112:39 pm
Beachy strikes out Davis to end the inning. Bottom of the sixth, Braves 4, Mets 2.
Sounded like a good pitch.
February 27th, 20112:40 pm
Still not there thinking Chipper’s rebuilt knee makes it for the duration. I hope Chipper’s knee holds up, but as I’ve said, and will say again, there’s a lot of season to play. We’ll see how Chipper’s knee wears as the season progresses.
Way to go Beachy!!!!!!!!!
Who Comes In After BB?
I want to see Easy-E (O’Flaherty)
And I couldn’t eat a 48oz steak…The most I can eat is 2 ribeyes and 3 pizzas…
February 27th, 20112:42 pm
[The most I can eat is 2 ribeyes and 3 ]
Not in one sitting however
All right. Minor in as #5 starter and Beachy out. Case closed. Imagine, getting rocked in your first Grapefruit League start… Send Beachy to the minor league camp.
Freeman hits a fly ball to Doo-Dah in LF. Bonzer continues to pitch.
Isn’t Moylan supposed to pitch today?
February 27th, 20112:43 pm
I wanna see Linebrink/Sherrill.
Gonzalez is hitting some shots today, just lined one that went about 5-10 feet foul down left-field line, after flying out to track earlier.
February 27th, 20112:44 pm
Looks Like Petey-Pablo will be pitching next inning?
February 27th, 20112:45 pm
Moylan is warming up, so he’ll prolly be the Braves pitcher for the seventh.
Looks like it’ll be Moylan.
February 27th, 20112:46 pm
So far, Goofy – or Boofy – Bonser owns Braves’ hitters.
Gonzo and next batter go down without much ado. Top of the seventh rolls around. Braves 4, Mets 2
February 27th, 20112:47 pm
I wanna see Delgado or Vizcaino!!!
Petey Pablo Is In, Yay…
Mather at 1st…? I’m assuming he will platoon with Fab 5 Freddie?
February 27th, 20112:48 pm
Mather in to first. Freeman out.
Buck Belue Calling the game tomorrow, Yay
February 27th, 20112:49 pm
Moylan beans JH jr with his first pitch of the year…….oyyyyyyyyy
Hairston HBP from Moylan.
February 27th, 20112:51 pm
Boofy’s a big dude (6′4″, 245). Has to be. With a name like Boof, you’ve got to be big.
Come on Moylan, don’t hit anyone >_>
February 27th, 20112:52 pm
Almost DP, but Mather leaves the bag to dig out a low throw by Young.
Another dribbler. Moylan fields and throws out to first. Man on 2nd with two outs.
Almost a DP.
Good play Moylan!!!!!!!!!!
February 27th, 20112:53 pm
Moylan has given up a single in the seventh, two outs and he’s facing some journeyman Quad-A player, No. 97 in your programs
Just walked the big ol’ sloppy looking dude.
February 27th, 20112:54 pm
February 27th, 20112:55 pm
Bowman makes a terrific play and throw (at 3b) to end the inning.
Moylan just walked the big ol’ sloppy looking dude, but 3B Bowman made terrific play to stop a would-be RBI (or two) hit to end inning
Big day for (not Mark) Bowman.
February 27th, 20112:57 pm
So Who is at SS?
February 27th, 20112:58 pm
February 27th, 20112:59 pm
I was talking about the Mets (if I heard the changes correctly). Just a bad tribute to Abbott and Costello on my part.
February 27th, 20113:00 pm
Ugh a 1 2 3 inning >_>
February 27th, 20113:01 pm
DOB since it is not Mark Bowman playing does that mean we can not expect you out there anytime soon? Think about how much better a perspective you would have. After all if Garth brooks can play in a game why not the great and talented DOB?
What would your walk up song be?
February 27th, 20113:04 pm
That statement that Powell made on Wren signing guys who are off of TJ surgery was On Point!
February 27th, 20113:05 pm
This big ol sloppy one, Val Pascucci, must be the Mets’ version of Barbaro Canizares.
So Proctor is in?
February 27th, 20113:06 pm
Ouch…! That was A Bomb!
McFann Ô Ô
Sweet…looks like it’s been a pretty good game!
February 27th, 20113:07 pm
Mets’ Russ Adams just CRUSHED a 3-run homer off Braves’ Scott Proctor to give Mets 5-4 lead in the 8th inning.
Awesome pen we have so far eh?
Oops…spoke to soon. Not my fault the Gameday’s a little behind…
rob from sc
February 27th, 20113:08 pm
Proctor has nothing left. We saw that last season.
February 27th, 20113:09 pm
Ho Sit Down…!
That’s Russ Adams, who has 17 homers in 884 career at-bats and will be at Triple-A this season.
February 27th, 20113:10 pm
Proctor gunning for the #5 spot?
2 Outs finally!
We talk baseball, other sports, music, movies, BBQ and whatever (except politics or religion)
