I doubt the prices on At Bat will come down until well after the all star break… unless they run some sort of promotion for a weekend. Based on the number of reviews At Bat already has it looks like not many people are upset over the price raise.
“Compare it to rock music from the 70s/80s where “good” was equated with “high dBA.” All that resulted in was a lot of partial hearing loss. If you need 120 dBA to hear the tune, you might need to get your hearing checked”
You see, this is a special amplifier. It goes to 11, you see? Most amps, they only go to ten. But this baby, she’ll go up to 11. How much more is that? Well, a normal amp goes to ten but this one goes to 11, so it’s one better.
“Chipper Jones, who, until 2007-2009, had been to the playoffs every year and at every stage in his career.”
Being on a great team doesnt mean one is a great leader. The only time the Braves won anything, Chipper was a follower, not a leader. No Chipper Jones led team has ever done anything emmorable except choke
robbie I really don’t know why you are here. So let me ask, why are you here? Who are you a fan of? You are no Braves fan, you make that abundantly clear. You never claim to be one, actually, and you continually bash them with every keystroke. Most of your comments are spittle-filled bashings that appear to only have one goal – to draw the wrath of every single Braves fan on this site.
Lew, good point at 9:34 a.m. today, about Schultz asking and Chipper answering honestly. Some just aren’t happy unless the question is answered to their liking, whether it’s truth or not.
Interesting. If we had a dollar for every time (on this blog alone) that people claimed that DOB, Bradley, Schultz, or any other local journalist refused to ask players (and managers) the tough questions, we could afford a blog party (which we also would likely argue about).
Yet when Schultz does exactly that, both he and the player who dared answer the question so many wanted answered, are both ripped. — Lew
